What is Your Favourite Song that is Over Fifteen Minutes Long?

"Songs that last longer than 15 minutes" isn't a huge catagory for me, but "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" by Pink Floyd is my choice.

Dunno, I listen to a ton of classical/jazz music and there are plenty of ridiculously long songs in those genres.

Shostakovich's 5th or 4th symphony, rhapsody in blue is around 14 minutes, if you count opera then Gershwins Porgy & Bess wins hands down, a bunch of really good bebop tunes would be up there to (thelonious monks Japanese folk song is pretty awesome).

The longest song I listen to is about 13 minutes. It's called "The Poet and the Pendulum", and it's by Nightwish

OT:- In the presence of enemies Part's 1 and 2 by Dream Theater from the album Systematic Chaos. In fact all there songs are brilliant and about half of the are over 15 minutes. Octavarium is about 40 minutes and its awesome.

I hate to correct you but Octavarium is 24 minutes. I believe you are thinking of Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence, which is about 45 minutes.

And that's my favorite that's over 15, Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence, the live version off of Score. Approximately 48 minutes.
