Pretty simple, what do you do for a living?

What have you done in the past? Future?

I'm a student and I hope to work at GameStop and then make a band as the bassist.

I'm a full-time student but I also work at a Greek restaurant part-time. I've previously worked as the meat department ***** at Safeway and the entire freezer staff at Costco. The restaurant pays less per hour than either of those (though I make enough with tips to put it over Safeway), but I wouldn't go back to either of those other jobs regardless. I like my job quite a bit - shifts go by fast, it's a really great restaurant, meals and drinks are 50% off, and I often end up with free food.

I'm a law student. I sit in a library studying people debating all the time. When I'm not doing that, old retired lawyers or Judge's clerks who couldn't cut it in the real world rip me apart all day.

When I'm not doing that, I'm screwing around on this website, writing stuff for the webzine that puts up with me, or begging for a job.

Before this I was a filing clerk at a government office. I taught creative writing for a bit, was a line cook in California, and edited manuscripts for a publisher in New York for a brief spurt. Before that was sweet, wonderful, glorious college where I was an epic frat dude who organized parties and kicked it with the lotus eaters.

Video Games were pretty consistent throughout all of this.

Right now I am blissfully unemployed and a full time student. I dislike spending money, so what I have will easily last me until summer.

That said, I have position lined up for the summer at a historic site, the kind with people wandering around in costumes and making cynical remarks about the tourists. Its like Clerks, but with more flamboyant outfits. Good pay, too.

aspiring clerk aspiring to be a musician? Are you really going to school so you can do something that an uneducated guy can do? Well, I guess English majors have to do something with that degree.

Personally, I'm a Nuclear Engineering student.

Student, aspiring author that does odd jobs to stay funded. I personally love it, but then again I have simple tastes.

I'm kind of like a modern Rip Van Winkle, but more industrious to his writing.

Oh, and I didn't fall asleep for 20 years.

By day i'm a business student, by night I work at Target as a cafer, dayside logistics, and occasionally work salesfloor and answer customer calls/other store calls.

Which bothers me not one bit(to do oddjobs) cause I get paid 20% more than anyone else there that's not part of the exec team.

I look after intellectually handicapped kids as of right now, next year I'm going for a Bachelor of Eduction, and if that works out, then I'll be a primary school (thats elementary school for those of you of the American persuasion) Teacher.

That's right, the next generation of children are going to get their education from the likes of me, scary thought isn't it?

Will they learn how to make web comics?

What grade are you hoping to teach?

I'm going to college and working part time at Food For The Poor. Doing whatever the hell they need me to do on a given day. Which ranges from driving to pick things up, to manual labor in the warehouse, to making spreadsheets.

I'm a handyman/mechanic at the local scrapyard/junkyard. I basically go find random crap people are looking for in the old carcases that litter the yard, be it a 83 Toyota pick-up fender to a 01 PT Cruiser fuel pump.

It's a great, fun, and unique job, though the hours can be a little rough at times.

Indubitably!

I have no idea how the grades thing works, but somewhere between 5-12 year olds, whichever one has the best balance of intelligence to snarkyness.

Full-time student, but I used to be a cashier at my local Giant grocery store. And before that, I was a cart monkey at the same store.
