What is your main goal in life?

End goal would be CIO, COO, or senior VP. Rest is, To get though college, get married, enjoy my job. Have enough money to support a amateur racing hobby
according to buddhism, the main goal of life is to die.. haha reach enlightenment.. the main purpose of life is to die.. would anyone believe buddha? haha i think the main and only reason of life is to exist and be there.. do your thing and exist with each other, co-exist..
Hit kids and steal their shit.
I kinda fail at setting goals, I guess owning my own house is the biggest one (I hate not owning my things, so renting is a problem, and I really, really want to move out of my parents house), but I'm a long way off that.
At some point I also decided (for no reason other than having a definate goal) that I was going to buy an Aston Martin at some point in my life.

Main Goal:
Move To America and become a respected doctor. Have a family, wife and two kids. Live in one of those normal suburban houses with manicured lawns. The pinnacle of normality. That is what I want.

Well plain and simply... I wanna be the guy.
Not just beat the game, I just want to be so awesome that some one makes an awesome 80-90s game of me and then that game be so awesome do to me, that other designer makes tributes to my awesomeness my creating games some much harder the the one I was in just so people can aspire to be an ounce as good as I was.

Currently, I'm working my way towards getting into the games industry (Art). But afterwards I would like to raise a family which has been my life goal since I was a young boy.
To get a cybernetic computer brain implant, then a high speed internet connection wired to my brain. Coupled with a catheter and a vitamin drip. The long nightmare of leaving my room to eat and pee will finally be over!
Out of curiosity, what do you think it takes? If you're not sure, I'd advise listening to Randy Pausch's last lecture [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji5_MqicxSo] if you haven't already. It's kind of corny to start out with, but he gives some good advice.xitel said:

1. Finish my novel and get it published. Write as many more as I possibly can.

3. Get a job working for Bioware or a reasonable facsimile thereof
4. Buy or build a nice house
