What is your most anticipated game of 2009?

Street Fighter 4, only thing I'm totally hyped about this year.But ill need to buy a Hori joystick or I'll probably end up braking my 360 controller.

I have to say that the game that I'm most looking forward to is Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Because its just so very fresh and unique amongst modern games, of course.

Actually, I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not, but I will say this game looks pretty interesting. Not only because it's being developed by gearbox (makers of the half-life expansions and aided with Counter-strike, amongst others), but also because the game mechanics really do sound pretty interesting. The Aliens franchise was always a great settings for an FPS, and while the setting may not be original, its presentation does sound fairly unique for an Aliens game.

If nothing else, I'm keeping my eye on it.

There's also a shooter that looked absolutely absurd. The bodies looked customizable and comical, as were the movements. The trailer I saw had patriotic music playing in the background as the characters blew each-other up in blazes of comical fury. Any clue what trailer I'm describing...?

I'm a simulator player and I enjoy games that don't have deadlines, countdowns, lives and pretty much resemble a social life which at times I lack in reality.

In that case, I'm looking forward to Sims 3 and becoming more introverted.

Starcraft 2, if it actually comes out, it was said that it MAY be released in late 2008 but that never happened so *fingers crossed*. Note: there may be a release date i have not seen yet which in that case i seem like an idiot. Adieu. Edit: bioshock two i freaking loved the first game, in my opinion best story in a game i have seen.
