What is your sin?

Pride, because I'm an artist and it comes with the turf.
And wrath, shamefacedly, because I seek out tards on mmorpgs just so I can mess with them.

But its only sin if someone else suffers for it right? and grief'ers aren't 'real' people right?

Wrath. I get angry extraordinarily easy. I'm talking put holes in my wall, break my own bones when punching something, and break expensive stuff that I will have to now re-buy, angry.

Definitely sloth. If I'd been using my full potential as human being, I would have been king of the world three times over already. But I'm a bit lazy...
That sounds a lot more like pride. Maybe you should reconsider.

Haha well said! I was using it metaphorically, but yea perhaps a bit of pride is involved sometimes. I try to be aware of it though so it usually doesn't surface too much.

Still, I was a lazy arse bastard at school, and even though I am quite happy where I landed, I know that I could have done way better, have I done more and aimed higher.

Out of the 7 deadly sins what will most likely be your downfall?
Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, or Pride?
Definitely not envy, I came to the conclusion a couple of weeks ago that I'm simply never jealous; at worst I simply couldn't care less about someones possessions. Lust and Sloth seem unlikely to me, I'm not really lazy and not all too sex-driven. It won't be Gluttony either, I'm not much of a big eater really - I'm often annoyed by the fact that I have to stop eating something I like because I'm simply full.

Most likely candidates would be Pride or Wrath, as I'm smart and I know it (irony?), and have been hurt so badly by people in the past that I would've attempted to kill if I had met them during that time.

Avarice for several reasons

1) No one else has picked it
2) You put 'greed' down instead and I'm nothing if not a nitpicker. There is a difference between the two because it's not on every internet list of the seven deadly sins because most people don't like the word.
Avarice was in the game Afterlife so I think it's supposed to be on there instead of greed. As (think Simcity except you manage heaven and hell)

Anywho. Avarice is basically hording wealth and power just for the sake of having it and not doing anything with it. Kind of like being a cheap bastard. Greed is just wanting lots of stuff which falls under envy.

I definitely horde my money and refuse to spend it even when I don?t need to. Just the other day I got in an argument with my lady on how I felt it was unnecessary to plant flowers in the flowerbed outside our house and that it was too expensive. I lost.

Pride.
I tend to have good grades and get overly confident.
That makes me study less than I actually should, until I get a bad grade which puts me back in my place.
I know of this problem, obviously, but that doesn't stop me from behaving this way.

Sadly most of them, except for Pride. Sloth tops the list though, I can't be arsed to do anything usefull.

You're in luck, I had the same 'problem' when I was in high-school. Problem is, I never got bad grades, it didn't matter that I did not study. For my exames, I only studied math for 30 minutes, and barely opened my books for other subjects (or not at all) and I still got A's and B's. It's biting my ass in college now though: I can't work, I never learned to work, I'm not used to do something. My confidence also suffered, since I don't see anything I did before as an achievement.

Yeah it's either "Se7en" or the Flogging Molly song.
No problem with the Flogging Molly song, they're fucking awesome and it's about pirates too :D

But to the subject, mine will probably be pride with a lil' bit o' wrath, always thought I'd die refusing to give up.

"Hell, I'm a fan of all seven. But right now? I'm gonna have to go with Wrath."

Really though, for me it's probably Lust.

I'm pretty sure avarice is just the Latin word for greed.
