My choice power is (selective) reactive instant evolution. What I mean is that basically, I would be the type to evolve acording to what I want, not at will; the limitation being that the evolution, although permanent until I evolve again, cannot occur unless I, at some point in time, would logically require such an evolution.
So evolving for survival against nature would be a breeze, whereas evolving against someone`s powers wouldn`t be too hard (if I get attacked telepathically or somesuch, I develop telepathic power. IE fight fire with fire).

But some sort of teleportation where it wasn't just: if you can see it or remember it you can teleport there. No, more like distance and if you know where you are going.
That way, I can teleport into my girlfriends room after curfew! The houseparents will never know.... and I can teleport into the shower, and to class. The only potential problem would be that my muscles get way worse if i dont walk as much.
So limited teleportation, which i can improve with training and use. And mind talking with my girlfriend.
I don't think this counts as one of the mental powers you abolished.

The ability to project my own life force as a physical entity. Can be used to create forcefields, or have an extended range of attack, or even manipulate objects from a distance, but it requires life force to do it so it cannot be sustained and it's incredibly strenuous. This basically protects me from all harm though as the life force will assume the form of a barrier to stop whatever it is from hitting me. Sounds pretty lame but I think it's a balanced, versatile superpower.

While in theory you would be moving fast enough to walk on air, this would mean the air in front of you would also be solid, thus killing you We conveniently ignored the fact running at the speed of light would crush you saying you cant be compressed, I think we are asking to much to ALSO be able to run on it

Alternately you could try and artificially manufacture them but I wouldn't place much faith in that since we STILL cant do that, looking at our fusion projects its easier to manufacture the sun than it is oil.

I'm not going to argue that while chemically possible my life would be a complex and difficult thing to bring into fruition. Significantly more so than our own ridiculously improbable happenstance of existence.
I reckon we'll be able to manufacture complex hydrocarbons on day but now fusion has grasped at break-even we, by rights, should get that sun in a box beforehand.

*Bow* thank you, thank you, Ill be doing autographs all week In all likelihood I think a being of energy more likely than a hydrocarbon one really. Think about it. We know energy can hold a massive amount information, the human brain functions on the back of energy in the form of electricity. If you could devise a means to contain said energy, the life form in theory could feed off any other energy or even mass.

The consent of how a pure energy life form would evolve however are completely beyond me Its pure speculation.

Though I am terrified of going on a plane or anything like that I think if I could just fly myself I would enjoy it. Plus no more driving around and no need for a car or vehicle to get anywhere. ^^ Also I guess add being able to fly so fast to break the sound barrier would be a nice little plus added onto that.
