Tommy Lee Jones lives here (supposedly). And the Alamo is a 45-minute drive south. It's kinda anticlimactic in person, though.

St. Helens in England.

Has the biggest British White percentage in Britain according to the 2001 census.

And was the incest capital till like the 1900's. ._.

My town is famous on the south-east side of norway and nowhere else....because we have a waterfall in the city and a statue of a hen....I mean, it's even named Hønefoss (Henfalls)...

Original home: responsible for the cinnamon cane. And the saying 'first let's eat'. No we're not all morbidly obese.

Place where I go to college: The Dom tower [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dom_Tower] (tallest church tower in the Netherlands), being one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands, its pretty architecture, the home town of Dick Bruna, creator of Miffy [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nijntje], and last but not least: its institutions of higher education.

It's quite ugly here..

But for a real merit:
This place is a middle link between all the those bigger cities, hence A Hell lot of buss activity.
All the time day and night.

But they don't stop here, obviously.

That's probably a good thing, though.
No one likes tourists.

Well my hometown is Reading (England) the home of biscuits and the (now shitty) Reading Festival.

I moved to Leamington Spa in September and I have absolutely no idea if it's famous for anything. It's sort of a smaller, less upper-class Bath.

The championship golf course (Carnoustie, Angus, Scotland, UK)

The town is ok but if you don't like golf it's pretty boring..

Oh and it's quite full of stuck up ****s with ideas above their station (read: minks with a bit of money)

My old hometown was about blueberries. This one is named for a famous Native American chieftan. But I don't know if they actually celebrate his life like the other town did blueberries. Hmmm.

My hometown, Kenly NC is known for a tobacco museum. I shit you not.

The town I live in now, Wilmington NC is known for a Battleship and Race Riots. Strange combo.

Brighton in England.

Statistically we have the most followers of the Jedi religion in England, have the most auto-asphyxiated (spelling?) deaths in the country AND we're possibly the gay capital of the UK (which is probably what it's most known for).

Oddly enough, I'm making none of that up.
awesome, somebody local. nice applicable name too.
Yep! Never that dull living round here huh? :)

You forgot about us being the heroin overdose capital of the UK! For a while at least...
