Interesting I think there was an add I saw that boasted that monster was an Australian product and that mother was made by the coca cola compnay (which it is) mabye I remember it wrong

anyway mabye mother is a localisation kind of thing, Im surprised its not in the states its quite popular here

I think it was the blue monster I tried, anyway Ive tried Redbull and V and mother tastes the best to me
It seems Coca-Cola Co. is marketing Mother exclusively to Australia and New Zealand, Monster is marketed world wide under several different companies. In Australia, Mother is distributed by Schwepps as Coca-Cola Amtil.

V Energy (Frucor Beverages Ltd., a private AUS beverage company) is marketed in a similar fashion, holding more than 50% of the market in AUS, and 60% in New Zealand. V, like Monster, is available in the UK, but Monster is the only one of the three available here in the states. Very disappointing in my opinion.

Good thing I'm a share holder in Coca-Cola lol, I'll find away to get my hands on Mother even it means a road trip down to AUS.

As a side note the blue monster can, the low carb version, is made with more artificial sweeteners probably in an attempt to keep the flavor as original as possible. The down side of this is that its like drinking a diet and regular soda side by side. If you like one, its hard to drink the other.

Cannabis, perhaps not addicted (if I can't get any I can live without it) but I do enjoy a couple of spliffs of an evening (habit costs me about £20 approx 2.5 to 3 grams a month) so I don't see it as that serious.

I find my day is chaacterised by a number of rituals I like to get to work ten minutes early so I can turn my PC on get a large white coffee with half a sugar and a pint of sparkling water. I then try to drink two more pints of water and one more coffee at work.

I am also addicted to eduacation, since leaving school I have done GCSE retakes followed by A Levels, then after a year gap started a Business Course, following year an evening course in Philosophy and started one in Computing , Access Course (A Level equivalency which got me a university partial scholarship), Undergraduate Degree in Sociology and I am now in the final year of a part time Masters Degree in Film Studies.

I also go second hand book shopping at least once a week. Yesterday I bought a collection of John Stuart Mill Essays (including On Liberty and THe Emancipation of Women') (66.6666p) 'Women In Western Political Thought' (66.6666p), A collection of comic strips about Brighton (where I live) published in the local paper during the 50's (66.66666p). A book on The Sopranos (my seventh book on the subject) for £3 and a book on postmodernism and sampling in 80's pop music fo £1.50. I tend to buy between three and ten books a week, won't read all of them but they tend to be so cheap I want to horde them for reference and to just read chapters/essays from.

Anymore not a whole lot. I love beer, but I'm cutting back. And now that I haven't had one in a while it doesn't bother me. Pot, I loooove pot. But same thing with beer. I can't afford them, and now I just don't really care if I have them.

Maybe RPGs, but only amazing rpgs.

I'm only addicted to junk food really, and caffiene, tho I'm trying to cut down both, I'm drinking those flavoured sparkling waters from the supermarket. It's not even close to the same, but it's a start and I'm drinking less of the high sugar stuff, tho quitting is gonna be hard.

As for energy drinks, is Relentless available outside the UK? I don't understand how a Coke company soda gets about zero marketing, despite imo, being better than Red Bull or Monster.

Could be, I know they do test studies on people first to try things out, and I personally can't see 'Mother' being a great name over here.

Good ol' fashioned cigarettes and coffee. I also can't resist a good drinking session with friends either. As Bernard Black put it,

"You know, just sometimes, in between the first cigarette with coffee in the morning to that four hundredth glass of cornershop piss at 3am, you do sometimes look at yourself and think... this is fantastic. I'm in heaven."

Sunflower seeds and gum. I can eat sunflower seeds until my tongue is raw from the salt, and I can chew gum until my teeth and jaw ache from the chewing. And then go on long after that. I try to make sure I don't buy either in large quantities so it doesn't get to that point.

I'd say Erdinger. It's my only vice...

Joking, of course, I was making a pun. Erdinger is a weiss beer... Yeah, I'll stop now.

I'm not really addicted to anything tbh.

Internet maybe?
