I have trouble talking to girls I like. I used to be socially awkward when dealing with anyone, so I guess it's a step up from where I used to be. Oddly enough, when I do start talking to a girl I like, I'm actually pretty good at it. Aside from my occasional lack of common sense, I'm capable of being witty from time to time. After the conversation is over, though, I feel incredibly nervous again, and have trouble bringing myself to start a new conversation after that.

I over think things. I may think "I think that girl likes me." Then I'll think "I wonder why?" Then I'll think "I wonder why I think that?" then it leads to biology, then some how I get to physics then I start thinking about something else. Yeah I just over think things.

My level of motivation varies wildly.

I can be very well motivated in some instances, and lack anything that might even be described as motivation in others.

And the criteria seems to have nothing to do with the importance of the task.

Beneath my iron-like carapace I have a soft underbelly. Apparently I can't take more than three rocket blasts but what's worse is my compulsive tendency to shift my shell around, exposing my weak spot...it's kind of rhythmic actually...

Serious answer; low self-esteem and this gnawing sensation that I'm always going to be poor and/or in debt. On the plus side I don't hate myself quite as much as I used too however long ago.

Hey! That's something we can both agree upon! Put it there!! *gives you a high five* Huh... It's weird for me because I was just a teenager not too long ago... But, then again, I have a mind of a dude born in the early 80's and even my best friend basically acts like a dude in his 40's (despite only being 5 months older than me).

We were both born in the wrong generation, I tells ya...

I have a special glowing orb hidden in an orifice that I only expose when I perform my special attack.
I cannot be damaged unless hit in that orb.

My parents are rather wealthy.

So my fear that I won't live up to them is probably going to hurt me in the long run, by putting me in a job I don't like just to make them happy.

Oh wells, it's a luxury problem more than anything.

Not even wrong generation, I just missed by a birth date about 5 years too late. Instead I got grouped in with the bulk of the YOLO GANGSTA teenagers, rather than the (relatively) quiet beginning propagators. Everyone I get along with was born before '93, with VERY few exceptions. Everyone else is such a stereotypical teenager it's not even funny anymore. Thank god I'm nearly free of the prison that is american secondary school.

Well, both my best friend and I have proven to each other time and time again that we were both born from the wrong generation... and, according to who you get along with, we barely miss your cut-off year by just one... excluding exceptions, of course...

Now that I think about it, middle school was a joke and high school just proved how much I am my own father... I can't really hate something I never really cared about... and don't get me started on how my best friend felt about those years... (Let's just say according to those years, I was technically smarter than him... and we both knew that was BS on a mental level...) College has only proven how I only have 1 best friend... and that I am (still) a very adaptive person despite my background history...

*sighs* I still miss the 80's, though...

Uh. Uhm. Well.
I tend to, um. Second guess myself...?

Wait, no, that's not right, sorry. God, I've made such a mess of this.

My greatest flaw? Oh boy there's a few!

I'm indecisive, I have terrible self-esteem issues, It's hard to trust others which makes things difficult.
But you know, things could be worse. I'd say I'm a pretty awesome person in general despite my endless flaws :D

My greatest flaw, low self esteem, unlike a lot of people who walk around thinking of themselves as important to life around them, or feeling loved and whatnot, I just look at how easily I can be replaced, and often am, in every facet of life, and work, and all that shit, I'm just extra meat, nothing special...

I'm smart, but unambitious, so it doesn't end up meaning jack shit as far as any form of success is concerned, and when it comes to the advice of "just do what you love, and you'll find your place." I don't even know what I love to do, I like gaming, I like eating food... I like getting drunk... but none of those things would make me money.

So I guess my biggest weakness, is just being me.

And I am not talking about Kryptonite. :)

For me, I suppose it's socializing with people. I suck at small talk and breaking the ice.
High humidity and heat. A dry heat I can take but not one coupled with humidity. My home state of Texas isn't all that friendly to folks like me and I run hot myself so its not fun. Granted, the cold is no bother lol.

Off Topic: Nice avatar btw xD

Flaws can be readily exploited and confessing them on the internet isn't exactly wise. Although...
Unless your planning to cook me (which my home is already doing thank you very much lmao) I see no worries about confessing my particular weakness here.

We could all be lying as well so, you know...it is the internet haha

I would have to say it's that I can be very apathetic sometimes. Nothing really surprises me anymore or is weird to me. A 7 year old killed his parents because they didn't let him play COD, meh. Not my parents, who cares. Old man molests his dog, meh, if he likes how it feels then more power to him.

Yet you perfectly broke the ice on this thread! Go you and escaping from your flaws!

OT: Overconfidence in my intelligence. I just got back from being a simulated patient for a medical exam. For said exam I had to pretend to be depressed. There was an inspector from University College London who said that a student had done incredibly badly and that the entire exam was flawed.

I pointed out to said inspector, a man with a medical degree who has been doing such inspections for longer than I have been alive, that was was really at fault was the DSM. According to the DSM, the student in question had asked every single question that was relevant to the diagnosis. He did so within the timeframe and gave a perfect diagnosis. The issue was not that the student lacked empathy, as the man was indicating, but that in a 9 minute long exam in which the student had to take a full medical history. You can do little more in nine minutes.

Some people think this is not a flaw. But it makes me incredibly arrogant and arrogance is one of the least attractive human traits. People regularly get tired of talking to me, due to me always correcting little bits of bullshit. I find it hard to turn off my political views, turn off my hatred of bullshit. This is one of the many things my last partner found infuriating about me.

If someone is wrong and refuses to accept that they are wrong, I will go strait from "Calm and considerate" to "Fucking angry."

I procrastinate over simple things to the point it irritates people as to why I never did it.

I become very indecisive when spending moderate/large ammounts of money. For example my old xbox 360 broke, I needed a new one but I put it off for about two months as I didn't want to spend the money. (Despite easily having enough saved for it to not impact my lifestyle)

My weak spot? I try and be nice to people on the internet. It rarely works out.

Well, I hate to admit it but... Tsunderes. Girls who can pull off a beret and any half decent Tsundere character has me head over heels for them. It's a hard life when you can get enthralled in a shit anime just to get a glimpse of the Tsundere character working on raising the Tsun part of her Tsun to Dere ratio. Hey that's how I got into reading the hilariously cheesy manga, Freezing. It's like how you watch a bad film just for fun :D

Y'know I once saw a chick in town a month or so ago who was exactly my type. Long hair, cool hat, A cup breasts and wearing trousers I almost stopped dead in my tracks in shock. What can I say, I don't find all that many females to be very attractive, sorry girls :p She looked a bit pissed off though so I carried on my way. Could be a forever lost romance, who knows.

Oh and I don't drink alcohol, funny that that would be considered a flaw by society's standards. Hey let's fuck up our thinking capacity so we're all singing random shit/having a massive punchup/face down in the gutter. Best logic EU. I know i'm being extreme but i'll be damned if i'm lowering my thinking power because of reasons.
