I would like to know if anyone here has had a dream so realistic you took to be reality only to be wake in a dark semi-familiar room(you know what room but you don't quite get where you are at first). This has happened to me just this morning and I neglected all thoughts of it till this point.

please share

I had a dream the other night I cant remember what happened but I remember feeling pain it woke me up and i did have a bit of a WTF moment. It's strange how something imaginary can manifest itself to have a physical effect.

I don't dream a lot, sadly. Seems I'm an unimaginative person.

Yet when I do, strange things happen indeed. I tend to take dreams for serious to such a high degree that it takes half of the day to realize that it DIDN'T ACTUALLY HAPPEN. This happens with dreams involving mundane things directly connected to my normal life in particular.

I once had a dream that I was drowning. I awoke to find that I was smothering myself with my blanket. I almost blacked out after I woke up (I could actually feel my consciouness fading), but I was able to disentangle the blanket from my face before anything bad happened.

Other than that, I've had innumerable dreams which were so realistic that I felt disoriented when I woke up in the morning.

It reminds me of that scene in the Matrix when Neo first talks to Morpheus face to face.

I once had dream that I was in a fight and I woke up because I kicked the wall really hard.
It hurt as hell, I nearly broke my toe.

That makes a scary read.

I also had dying dreams, the most disturbing of which was having my wrists slit and bleeding out. I came pretty close to dream death ;) But it felt pretty realistic (from the point of view of never having ACTUALLY experienced it...) and that kept irritating me for days at least.

this is what i'm talking about, I will have dreams where I die or come to near death and out of nowhere I wake up and I have cuts and bruises(I know he didn't but it still hurt presumably), then I forget where I am(due in part that my room where in perfect darkness appears to have no characteristics beyond a ceiling and walls). But regardless I'm still a little woozy, disoriented and unaware of my surroundings when I awake and find myself with scratches and what not in god knows where this time

I know how youse feel, I die in my dreams alot and I know they probably wont feel like that in real life mainly because you can only get shot in the head by a high powerd rifle once! One time in a dream a demon tore out my heart through my kneecap and I woke up in the cold sweat choking on my own airway and my heart beating faster than a starteld cat runs away.

Also last night I dreamt I was in TES V.....whitch dosent exist yet but the dream fealt like I was playing a game while compleatly imerst and I found myself thinking I'd fallen asleep playing a demo or watching the trailer only to relize 10 minutes later it was a dream, A major disapointment I can tell you because it look so mind strainingly awsome!!!! I swear if the accual TES V looks anything like my dream version I will literaly smack myself in the face and feint out of shock!

I know I'm obssesed with games otherwise that wouldent have happend.
