Creating Ideas/Themes for Games, Movies, Books, Etc...
Running through a brand new idea in my head is arguably more fun for me than actually partaking in those media.

Smoking my pipe at the end of a long day. i know most of you think that tobacco is the devil and everyone who uses it gets cancer. well i really dont care. it helps me relax and to think clearly. also, pipe smokers are badass.
Reading Discworld books. Hanging out with my fiance. Making fun of the things that are frustrating me with my online friends.
Writing, playing music, exercising and my near-constant state of closet-elitism.
Writing: All the sick things that go through my head when I come home at the end of the day I empty out onto a poor, helpless document that is shaping up to be one of the best stories I've written.
Playing music: I play the bass. Write a little bit of my own music on the side, though I've no band or anybody else around who can play a guitar or drums worth a fuck so it's just my own thing for now.
Exercise: Take out all my locked up rage on the pedals and it's made me one of the fastest cyclists in the area. Not that it's anything to be proud of when you consider my competition is old people and children.
Elitism: I won't deny that when I go places, I'm almost always thinking "You are so fucking stupid," when I look at some people. Of course, I can't tell that to them. I can't tell them their taste in music is horrible, that I hate the way they follow trends, that they're too old for plastic surgery and it makes them look like a freak.
So many things; let us count the ways...

The fact that my job is a paid form of anger management, and my primary hobby involves chasing people around and hitting them with the equivalent of a baseball bat.
My computer, it keeps me entertained enough to distract me from real life. Edit: Well I might already be insane but I haven't murdered anybody yet sooo....
I occupy myself with video games nearly every single free, waking moment; and I also dwell in the fantasy world I've been developing since I was 6 or so (which if I go by that, means it's almost 20 years in the making; heh).
Music in general. I love to just take my mind off of things by listening to it, or trying to study more theory about it, or even just sit and practice my scales and stuff on guitar for a while. It really helps me relax and keeps me sane.
Books.......lots and lots of books and my constant love for TRUE HORROR (Thank you H.P. Lovecraft)
Plus the determination to write my own book comes to mind, among other things I think my friends keep me sane (with a straight jacket when we go out, but none the less sane)
