What keeps you sane?

Video games, right? Video games is what brings us here, today. Without being trolls or uncivilized brats with computers and internet connection.

Some of the things that keep me at least somewhat sane are: being able to start up a game and just go kill everything and everyone (that is a major stress reliever), the music I like, and being able to take things in my life (at least so far) at my own pace.

Pretty much my optimism. If I wasn't so happy and thinking positively, I'd be a very violent person.

This. With all the shit that's gone down the past month, my car getting blow up, losing my job and my girlfriend, most people I know would probably understand if I lost it, but that's not my nature.

what keeps me sane would have to be; my music,having short meaningless chats with myself (i know kinda backwards), and I have to say my "security" necklace without that thing the population of were i live would drop a couple hundred in a very short time frame.

Angry music. Or Viking metal. And my friends. They keep me grounded. Sometimes when I think I can fly, they tactfully tell me that I can't. And thank god for that.

Videogames give me the escape I need from the real world, and my zune helps me when I dont want to hear the world around me when I'm in public.

Work. I work, a lot, I enjoy it, and I'm good at it. Also the fact that I'm not mentally unbalanced.

Talking to anyone, even my cat. Although I won't tell people my problems straight away and usually wait till I'm in tears when I tell them, then I feel better.
It used to be writing... if I didn't like this world, I'd make my own up but I'm not using my computer right now so I can't do that.
Music and singing. Singing tells your brain that you're happy.
