What kind of person are you in real life?

Well I find I'm much more confident over the internet. It takes me forever to be comfortable around people in real life but here I started posting straight away and just haven't stopped. I also find that I type a lot more proper than I talk. I'm not sure how I come across but I'm a bored as teenager frustrated by a few aspects of my life who thinks too much. Hopefully only the teenager part of that shows.

IRL I'm loud, annoying and I'm a massive attention-seeker. I'm proud to say that I'm a really funny guy. I have ADHD, I play the drums and am completely musically obsessed. When I'm not being loud and obnoxious I'm the polar opposite, I go quiet and shut myself off from my friends. So yeah I'm either loud and extremely sociable or totally quiet (usually the former rather than the latter)
Most people hate me on first impression because I make a lot of jokes and am a little intimidating. At the same time I'm smart without being arrogant

...The internet doesn't convey any of this

I'm much the same. I'm a bit restrained, I try to be kind whenever I can and I'm just plain weird.

This is probably why Forum Games appeals to me so much.

Pretty much an arse-hole IRL. If you asked any of my friends, they'd tell you the same. Although I'm very different online... strange...

I have zero social and conversational skills, I don't spout memes or jokingly screw around like how I do on the interwebz most of the time... I'm completely unsocial and avoid nearly all social situations possible; if unavoidable, I stay outside of the social circle and just sit back and bury my face in something else or watch others have fun socializing.

Oh, and I hold my pencil differently, don't type with the typical "asdfjkl;" format, yet maintain a WPM of about 60... I also can't naturally smile, so I can never force a smile for a photo without looking retarded, so all photos show me without smiling, pretty much. I can technically be a very nice person, but trying too hard to be nice or not an asshole negatively affects that.

I'm sort of the polar opposite in real life. I'm not how I am here because I have literally no social or conversational skills, so the internet you could say just takes on whatever persona I would have had I some decent social skills...
Honestly, pretty much this, minus the holding a pencil differently and the incapability of smiling, although I might as well not be able to smile, since I barely ever do.

Think in real life i'm more of an asshole. I tend to act cocky and irl don't give a fuck about how people think of me, which is odd cause online i tend to care more.

I'm also a lot more morbid in person, i come out with strange and dark ideas.

I am very introverted in real life. I do not talk to anyone ever, and I have a hard time making friends. I consider myself a kind, slightly nerdy person. I do not like to fight with anyone. I have been known to break out into song every now and again. I don't think I am any different on the internet than I am in real life. Oh, I am also built like a football player.

Pretty much the same, except that Online I have a tendency towards cuter things and speech and I'm much more open about my sexuality whereas IRL I tend towards practicality and sarcasm and a dash of cynicism, I'm trying to reconcile the two since I'm off to Uni to be my own person.

That seems pretty rare, good work, I guess.

I'm a snarky troll who constantly flames- Real life? oh...

I think I'm pretty nice and sociable, though honestly I don't have a clue how other people perceive me.

I believe it is in regards to the position in which your fingers are suppose to be located when typing the "correct" way (using all your fingers). Those letters are the "home" letters for each finger when typing. I don't know very many people that utilize this format though.

Actually more of a jerk, because there aren't people roaming around IRL with the sole purpose of banning people from talking for having unpopular opinions.

He means that he doesn't use a QWERTY keyboard (the home keys are asdfjkl;), and yet maintains a Words Per Minute of 60.

OT:

I am very much the same on the Intarwebz as I am in real life: I am outgoing, gregarious, friendly, optimistic, more than willing to engage folks in conversation, totally not afraid to assert my opinion (too old to be timid).

I am a dogged friend, and a relentless enemy, both online and IRL.

I will stand you to a round while we debate the issues of our time in a bar, and I will just as quickly ignore you (in both realms) if you prove that you are incapable of a reasonable back-and-forth discussion.

My one weakness? I tend to be a bit less patient with folks online. I dunno... some wire in my head got crossed and I think that if you are at all computer savvy enough to engage in the blog-o-sphere and the internet, you should have at least two neurons to rub together.

But seriously, there are very few people that couldn't earn a beer or two from me just by engaging in an evening of good conversation.
