I'm the kind of guy that likes to stand alone and observe how people act. From that, I judge those whom I can trust and whom will stab me in the back for the most trivial shit.
I like to help people, but if you cross me, I could care whether you live or die a slow, painful death in a vat of acid. I would prefer the second option.
When you don't know me you may say I'm a cold, heartless fucker, but when you DO get to know me, I'm one of the coolest and laid back people you will ever meet.

I'm rather cynical at times and tend to brood. I can be selfish but feel there's nothing wrong with that. After all if you're utterly selfless you end up with nothing. I treat my friends incredibly well, often times sacrificing something I want for them so that they'll be happy too. Which of course contradicts the selfishness I tend to show towards strangers and family.
When around people I don't particularly know or like I tend to become quiet. I barely speak to them and I allow them to assume I do not like them. Because it's mostly true. I don't. I am by nature a misanthrope, distrusting and even hating the larger part of society as a whole. This doesn't mean I can't get along with particular individuals though.

I have the patience of a saint according to my friends. I'm the 'arseclown' of the group making myself look like a twat to amuse people. I give advice and listen to people and I'm really affectionate, I love hugging and kissing people on sitting on their lap.

I am very self reliant and rather silent.
Some people assume I'm shy, but it just seems logical to me to not start a conversation with someone you do not know and do not need anything from that person and you shouldn't say anything when you don't know anything to say.
I speak plenty to friends, the less I know someone the less I talk and the more people there are nearby the less I talk too.
I have a vivid imagination along with solutions to some problems, yet I am not able to use them. Example below:
I am greatly convinced that the entire world needs to be ruled by a single king/emperor/whatever who's will shall be done as long as they don't cross certain boundaries of humanity.
Seriously, different countries worked in the past because you couldn't talk to someone at the other side of the world, now that the Chinese and Italians people are all living pretty much next door you can't have separate worlds. In a world with internet you need a single government with universal laws, a single currency and everywhere equal taxes!
There are so many government related laws designed to limit the power of the rulers but ultimately screw everyone around because those exact laws prevent swift solutions. The ruler needs to be somewhat free to install anything he/she deems right.

Im not going to engage in a flame war with you, I'm simply saying that deciding most people in the world are stupid and useless is wrong, and is more of a reflection of your personal self than anything. I used to be very loathing and I changed and now I'm happier and have a lot more friends, Im not judging these people at all. I like 90% of people I would say, including most people on this forum. There is a difference between Judging someone irrationally and commenting on someone in a situation where they are asked to describe themselves they say that they are rude to people they don't know or that they are cynical and lack faith in humanity.bodyklok said:

My point was, though: Just as you can choose to like people and those who get over their hate can choose to like again, those who don't have the same abillity to choose, for whatever reason, to continue hating.
You may not like it, but they've most likely got some pretty horrible reasons which would probably twist your psyche as well if they happened to you.
I agree with you, and I'm not trying to prove an opposite point, but I was the tubby gamer kid who was picked on in elementary school, I had the dad that wished I was an athlete not a writer and musician, who was quick to remind me that I was a failure in his eyes. So I know how some people can just hate people before getting to know them, I just sincerely hope they get past it.
