I used to have an Android phone before I got my iPhone. I do like Poweramp but I prefer the stock iPhone player. It's just a cleaner, simpler interface that everyone's used to, plus it does gapless playback a lot easier.
Well different strokes I guess. I'm more for functionality myself. The ipod software works incredibly well and it does have a very refined interface, but poweramp blew me away. Plus its made by either one dude or a very small team. It's very impressive when you think about it...
I'm still open to Android of course. When it's time for an upgrade I might end up going back to Android you never know.

A Sont Ericsson Xperia Play, nifty little phone, great screen, nice and fast. The playstation controller also comes in very very handy.

I got's me one o these, cept immagine it with the bottom part plastic cover thing blue, with the top one red, and quite a bit more beat up...

I got it because it's a Nokia, like my last phone, and made of freakin metal.
My bro was all like, "dude flip phones break easily you should get a different one.", I was all like "it's made of metal and a nokia bro, this shit ain't gonna break.", and so far I've pitched it at a concrete wall, thrown it on a concrete floor,, dropped it and booted it into a telephone pole while wearing my steeltoed work shoes, and dropped then stepped on it multiple times. it still works the screen and buttons are all fine not a scratch on em, the button that makes it flip itself open when you press it works, the vibration function works the ringer is fine... the only real damage to it is purely cosmetic... I swear Nokia makes insanely durable phones, practically indestructable by normal means.

I have a HTC Desire S, and it's awesome.

I got it about 3 months ago when my contract ended with my previous phone, which was pretty crappy. The contract costs £17 a month for pretty much as much internet, calls and texts as I'd ever need and the phone itself is brilliant.

Droid 3. My Droid 1, which I still have, was a goddamn durable electronic swiss army knife, and so far the Droid 3 is proving to be one as well. Pretty much the only thing I don't do on it is make phone calls!

It serves as my:

Personal notepad
Alarm Clock
Portable media player
portable gaming device
OBD-II scan tool
the speedo in my truck since the original doesn't work
A dashboard camera
A camcorder
a paperweight
a seismograph(I use it to determine vibrations on engines most of the time)
a measuring device
a level
portable Steam IM client
flashlight
Satnav, should I need it
portable radio thanks to my favorite FM station's Android app
flash drive
portable, wireless modem
scientific graphic calculator
unit converter
portable shop manual
....there's other stuff I can't think of right now. But suffice it to say it's an electronic swiss army knife.
Pffft... That's nothing, mine can call people, text people and it can tell me the time AND the date.

OP: Ye olde Nokia. I've had it for a year or two and it does all the stuff I need it to do for cheaps.

Random feature-phone with a slide out keyboard. Not much, but it gets the job done.

One of these.

Why? It's not flimsy, it's small and lightweight and inexpensive to replace. I used to have a nokia that was even tougher but I don't like the green screen ones.

Some Nokia...thing.

I got it 5 years ago. It cost £10 and came with a free £10 topup. I don't use it much.

None, because I rarely find myself in a situation when I need one. It would just function as a system that allows people who I don't want to communicate with to bother me at any point during the day.

I have a pink Blackberry Curve. I got it because I wanted a half decent phone and I love it. I have had it for a year and a half and have never had a problem with it.

I have a Sony Erricson something or over from about 6 years ago. I have it because it can send and receive texts. It can also do calls as well.

I have a Motorola Atrix 4g. I got my first Android phone about 2 years ago, and instantly became addicted to Google Maps Navigation. I use the navi a fair amount, pretty much any time I'm driving somewhere I haven't been before.

I dropped my old phone on concrete in March, and the screen shattered spectacularly. I bought the Atrix used off contract for $200, because I didn't like any of the Android phones offered by AT&T at the time, and they'd have cost about the same.

I wish they kept coming out with smaller, 3.7-4" top shelf Android phones.
