What kind of shooter are you?

I'm best with mines, shotguns, melee, LMGs, SMGs, and rocket launchers.

My play style is a mix between demolitions and offensive/agile.

Pretty much the Infiltrator class from KZ3 with prox. mines and extra ammo.

If I get frustrated I pick people off using a DMR and steadily advance.
If I'm feeling ticked off I go diving in sideways guns blazing.
If I feel like mucking around, I run around and behind people replacing their brains with 00 shot. Gotta known when to hold fire to do it right though - when your stealth approach is shot, so are you.
Have to keep advancing as a team no matter the game. The best front-line defence is a stronger offence.

A mix of agility and stealth, my preferred tactic is cutting, dividing an enemy group by attacking the middle. If it's a small game (eg CoD) then I'll opt to target their rear first. I normally slip past the front line and take out anyone hanging back then make a push towards my team, via the enemy. Surrounding them and cutting them down.

But cutting is more fun and causes more chaos which is my usual playstyle. I'm all about running in, doing a load of damage then pulling out and using snap ambushes to take out anyone following me. My goal in larger games (like MAG) is to draw as many players as possible towards me and away from the main fight, whittle them down and target objectives/snipers/anything past the main line.

The coward. Time to run away from all the people shooting, let them do the work, while I hide and stay alive in this mud covered pit. To the hells with your 'cause', you want it, you can die for it.

Game wise? I'll be the one lobbing explosive ordinance from a tube. Any kind will do. Hell, I may not even need to lob it. Maybe just place it, and let you come to me by making a lot of noise, while I stay safe in my protected wall. Or treat them like pizza--hand tossed is occasionally best.

I'd say I'm more of a Tactician when it comes to FPS games.
Only shoot when it counts, small bursts only, no melee unless necessary.

Silenced Sniper with a pistol is the one I prefer most but not what I can use most. It's amusing to see people run around in confusion, not knowing where the shot is, and I almost always win in a 1v1 fight with a pistol, even against snipers.

I generally go for slowly advance, then kill everything around me, then advance again. in MW2 I go for 3-4-5, as that's how I roll, getting low killstreaks before dying but getting those short killstreaks repeatedly.

I have a 50%+ accuracy in most shooters I play that keep track of that sort of shit. Snipers for me, but I wouldn't call it "stealth". More like "Hey, I'm over here. Try to get to me, I dare you."

There's a reason my weapon of choice in MW2 was the EBR. Fast, accurate, and still powerful enough to one shot people, or, at worst, two shot them. Easy enough to double tap the trigger when you know you're not going to get the headshot.

Usually mixes of assault rifles and SMGs, but I always have one specialist class with a sniper rifle.

Assault rifles and intelligence, knowing where the enemy is is the most important thing to me. High accuracy and high caliber with a low rate of fire.

Singleplayer stealth or powerhouse, multiplayer a combination of the two offensives (assault rifle and rocket launcher, for anti-personnel and anti-materiel, respectively.)

Am I the only one who finds stealth to be kind of stupid when people expect someone to run up and stab them in the balls, or at least try to kill them somehow? Stealth is most effective when your presence is completely unknown, unexpected, and unsuspected.

I probably have to be a tactician from that list, those are the guns I would pick up without a thought whenever I am playing a shooter (for whatever reason), plus I wouldn't go lone wolf and charge into group of enemies like some other people would.

Stealth/Offensive. I love the sniper rifle more than any other gun and creeping around in the dark with silenced weapons is a lot of fun, but I'm not good at being stealthy. I don't have the patience to just wait and gather intel. I like a fast pace of shooting bad guys in the face so think Mass Effect 2 rather than Splinter Cell.

KNIVES!!! Most of my kills come from lunging half way across the map and killing people, one time i played on gun game and stabbed the same guy over 15 times... he quit.

BUT seeing as a knife can't be a primary weapon I pick the fastest shooting gun and spray the hell out of anything that moves!
