What made you join the Escapist

Came for ZP, stayed for the massive improvement in forum quality compared to GameFAQs. I used to spend a lot of time on User Reviews but migrated to Off-Topic and Gaming Discussion over time.

Well I came here due to ZP, but it was the threads that made me stay and join up. I can't remember which one as I didn't respond to it, but it must have been interesting. I believe it was about Left 4 Dead 2 as it was still pretty new at that time.

Zero Punctuation (or rather searching for Fable on Youtube and then finding the ZP vid and liking it a lot) brought me here, Unforgotten Realms made me join because I wanted to comment on one of the episodes, the community made me become sort of involved in the forums.

Zero Punctuation made me come, but the forums made me sign up. I think I've posted on... four ZP videos and read maybe two of the articles that came out, and I never watched any other video series (with the exception of the occasional MovieBob or Unskippable).

Originally to make snarky remarks/moan about life in general, but the real clincher was when I wanted help writing a Novel - the thread of which promptly withered and died, but my visits to the escapist didn't.

Oh, and to spout Claymore fanboyism somewhere nobody knows my name.

ZP made me come to the site, but I didn't actually joined. After seeing something interesting in the hot topics sidebar though I decided to join so I could make a snarky comment.

Pretty much all of this, only I'm not any good at snarky. The Escapist can thank gamesradar for pointing me to ZP to begin with.
