I'd say I'm a nerd about games, anime and manga. I'm really overly particular about some things to the point that I'd probably be considered elitist.

The White Stripes. Not to the extent of some people but I do have a pretty solid knowledge of history, discography (official and bootleg), and a good bit of random info.

Also movies, I annoy my friends by commenting through an entire movie, criticizing or praising all the things they couldn't care less about.

Encyclopedic knowledge of the Forgotten Realms.

I have a collection of glow in the dark jigsaw puzzles of 5000 pieces. I can complete one in less than a day.

I play games, I know programming (and insert jokes about it in everyday speech). I assemble my computer together for fun.

I know all the lines of Clue or Monty Python by heart so I can recite the whole movie. I read Let's Plays for fun. I have a room whose walls are covered in bookcases and have read all of them.

On a probability exam, at a dice question, I asked what type of dice and proceeded in showing the teacher my collection of dice.

I guess I could go on but...

And do you know what the ironic thing is? I don't play World of Warcraft at the moment (although I will, it's just that I can't afford the subscription at the moment).

I guess i was born a geek - By the age of 10 i knew everything about Windows 95 to XP, thought as puberty hit i got into girls and cutting my blonde mop more often.

Nowadays as a somewhat busy 19 year old I'm still pretty geeky, i love audiophile stuff, use a tweaked out Mac, debate about geeky Back to the Future conundrums and geekgazm every time an old movie shot on film gets upgraded to Blu-ray.

I suppose my latest example of being a uber nerd (in my eyes) is last night I was talking to my bro on msn. We talk about the movie TV spots trailer at the super bowl. I ask which films he is hype up for a he said Battle for LA. My answer is Captain American and Thor and he seen surprise and oblivious to why I am excited for those two film base from the trailers. While I don't buy comic books (I can't afford it) but I do know more about them then the average person by reading their history online.

Oh also I would rather spend Friday night safe indoor then to spend Friday night out in some nightclub were I can?t stand alcohol and my fear of being mugged during the night.
