Actually, ironically, most recently it was the scene that is in most "Manly Tears" demotivational posters.

Poor Maes.

The last time I cried was at the ending of the Green Mile a few weeks ago, when:

John Coffey's closing his eyes and singing "Heaven" in the moments before he's executed...he didn't deserve to die dammit...

Aside from that there aren't many things that can make me cry any number of times. Possibly Jurassic Bark...maybe Gran Torino, I cry every damn time.
The Green Mile reduced me to a quivering, snivelling, snotty wreck for the last hour or so of it. Probably the hardest I cried since I was a little kid. Haven't cried anywhere near as hard since then.
Painfully sad movie.

Clannad.
Anyone who saw Clannad and didn't cry like a baby is a robot.
I finished watching Clannad over two weeks ago and I still can't go 5 minutes without something reminding me of something that happened in that show and blubbering like an infant for hours at a time.
Bawled like a newborn once per episode, at least for After Story. Hell, the intro theme still makes me tear up, and I watched it over a year ago. Definitely in the top 5 saddest (not depressing, mind, but you're guaranteed to cry) stories of all time.
ditto! after story is the single saddest thing i've ever watched. Seriously if they didn't play the "it was all a dream" Cliche, i would have completely lost it in that last episodes, i was damn near sobbing when his kid died on the street. (dear god im tearing up thinking about it as im typing this.)

The Chopper & Doctor Hiluluk flashback in One Piece's Drum Island arc. damn..... It's the only time I've cried as an adult. Even on the second watch I cried many manly tears, even while I tried my hardest not to.

Not a particularly recent one, but I re-watched Prison Break recently and when
Bellick
dies I always cry a bit. His character undergoes such a huge change and he does something you'd never expect him to have done in season one.
Oh yeah that was pretty sad too, and then when you think about what his mom must go through.... nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Also Envy's death in FMA:brotherhood had me at the verge of tears, though I managed to hold them back using all my willpower. Kind of weird, he was supposed to be the most hatable character, but he was my favorite and I hoped he could be redeemed. Alas.

the first series did the scene more justice than Brotherhood. I too shed manly tears when his daughter asked y they were putting him in the ground, cliche but effective.

that and the death of the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen. The entire memorial episode after his death was the saddest to watch in the ENTIRETY of the naruto series.

The first pokemon movie. :(
I didnt cry but it was a very, very deep film for a pokemon movie.
My moment where i shed a tear was when Naruto had just beaten pain and his way of handleing things with pain motivated pain to bring all narutos villagers back to life, but the moment that got me was when kakashi had braught naruto back to konohah, to naruto's surprise that all the villagers were waiting for there hero and flash backs to narutos sucesses events prior to pain and naruto notices that hes finally been accepted.
The moral of the story, talking ends wars not weapons.
Good work kishi!keep it up.

The ending of Professor Layton and the Unwound future:

Not many games have moved me as much as this one, even though those games have fancy things like polygons ;)

Second episode of MLP:FiM a few times at the end. Annnnd during a few of the stories of how the mane cast got their cutie marks.

....what? Don't judge me.

Oh and some fanfiction of MLP called circle of friends.
Have you got a link for that fanfic? Google search is not being very helpful =/

OT: First 10 minutes of Up and that scene from Toy Story 3 get me every time. Also, I can't remember which book it was, but there's a part in the Wheel of Time where Perrin is defending a town from Trollocs and expects to be killed in the fighting, so he leaves a letter to Faile which I find rather upsetting to read.
Yeah, here it is! join the hugging and crying afterwards.

Yep, that definitely left a lump in the throat. Thanks for the link!

oh god yeah, i forgot about that. i still can't mentally process that thought.
Odd as it may seem, i cried during Ghost Town with Ricky Gervais; if youve seen it, its near the end where he starts helping them (you know what i mean), and it just really got to me how the living reacted to all these things.

Jesus im getting choked up thinking about it. Feel free to call me an idiot, thats just me

*SPOLER WARNING*

I'm kinda hesitant to admit it, but when I was watching the ending to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and when the president grants Naked Snake the award and afterwards he's visiting the unmarked grave of his mentor, and you totally understand how the goverment fucked him over and that all that terrorist crap was justified, a single, manly tear was shed.

Goddamnd that was manly. I polished my NCO cross with that teardrop.

My fiancee had to put her cat down a few weeks ago and I was there. It was sad in itself, but it reminded me of when I had to put the cat I had been with my entire childhood down a few years ago. I have a huge soft spot for cats.
I'm the same as you. I don't think I could love a human child more than I love my cat. I need help, probably.

Oh and I watched the I Heart Revolution: We're All In This Together film and couldn't hold tears back. I challenge you to go through that without feeling moved.

Here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4NlyZqJhwk

Final Fantasy 7 Crisis core.
The more I see that ending. The more manly tears flow from my eyes.
Sniff.

When I realized I lurk on The Escapist and shun my social life for hours a day.

But seriously I was near tears when my rig and gigs of memory got fried a few months ago; but that's about it.

Yeah, it's a very bittersweet piece of writing. I liked it a lot. Makes you feel sad without being outright depressing.

Getting back on topic, the scene in Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-rabbit when
Wallace/the Were-rabbit gets shot at the funfair

This. MY GOD THIS. How can something from a show that hilarious make me become so depressed?
Touché Matt Groening, touché.

Also, for some reason, the ending of Donnie Darko when Mad World is playing.
Shifting by all those people crying and having their lives ruined with that song playing in the background, it just hits a certain note with me. Especially the part near the end with his own family. I get that the movie is pretentious for a lot of people, but for me it's a really powerfull piece of cinema. Can watch it loads of times and still be amazed by it.

Also a flash game called The company of Myself. Whilst it didnt make me cry as such it did move me and made me a little sorrowful

If nobody cried at the end of The Green Mile then you have no soul.

OT: When I was 12 I got my leg practically lanced when the bus I was on hit a tree, resulting in a compound fracture. And while I was lying in hospital the two ends of broken bones were grinding together. Worst pain of my life.

You've played G-Senjou? I haven't gotten around to it, yet. I still got a ton on my list to finish before I even think of it. Shoot, I still have to finish writing a review on Symphonic Rain, too (summary: holy shit, read it; don't let the art style fool you into thinking it's light and fluffy!).
If you can, bump G-senjou up on your list. IT IS WORTH IT.

Actually, I haven't played Clannad, yet, either. If it's <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.163769-Neutral-Drow-reviews-Kanon>anything like Kanon was, though...

It's bad enough in the anime. It's almost unbearable in the game.

You've had a lot more time to spend with her (and plenty of time for me in particular to completely and positively revise my opinion of her), a lot more time to register for yourself what's happening to her...and the anime pulled that little disappearance at the end out of its ass. There's nothing in the game to suggest that she doesn't simply fall asleep and die in your arms.

I'm not gonna lie. I finished that game route, went to sleep, went about the next day mildly distracted, went to bed that night...and then cried myself to sleep. It was a very uncomfortable feeling.
Funny! I haven't seen/played Kanon! I've been putting it off for way too long for whatever reason.
