You've played G-Senjou? I haven't gotten around to it, yet. I still got a ton on my list to finish before I even think of it. Shoot, I still have to finish writing a review on Symphonic Rain, too (summary: holy shit, read it; don't let the art style fool you into thinking it's light and fluffy!).
If you can, bump G-senjou up on your list. IT IS WORTH IT.
Done. After I finish The Sagara Family, finish Family Project (I temporarily set it aside), and go through Higurashi, Snow Sakura, and Umineko, I'll do it.

...I say, as if I had any sort of track record of following my own lists (if I did, I'd be playing Tokimeki Check-In right now). I'll probably get to G-senjou before those.

Funny! I haven't seen/played Kanon! I've been putting it off for way too long for whatever reason.
I'm still trying to find another way to get it to people. When I first found it, it was on a great thread on Hongfire that not only had it as a multi-part direct download rather than a torrent, but also included the English and voice patches. The thread has since been taken down, though...on the other hand, I think I've found the All Ages version in a couple of places.

Honestly, I haven't full blown cried about anything in years. And I'm an extremely sensitive person at heart. But I usually get sad, and then look for positives in a situation. As for movies and TV shows, I don't get attached to movies that easily which is likely why I don't watch many. The things that will make me feel like crying are when good people are going through or experienced something horrible and painful in their own lives that are out of their control.

During the play Proof, there is a scene when Catherine finds her father, Robert, outside in the cold. For those who haven't seen it, Robert is a mathematician who has suffered heavy mental degradation. He has begun to relapse into dementia (it's never explained what his illness is) and claims he has found a new revolutionary proof. After her hesitation and his demands, Catherine reads it aloud.

I can't find the part from the script. It's not just math, but poetry. It was strangely the most beautiful thing that I have ever heard.

I almost completely lost it in the theater. There were some tears, but I choked most of it down. My friends I was with said it was the first time they'd ever seen me show that kind of emotion. Just thinking about it now makes me want to cry.

I just love the majesty in that scene. Movies like that show how far disney has fallen. When I was a kid in the 90s, Disney made movies that were not only amazing fun to watch, but handled adult topics with a surprising amount of tact for a kids movie, which made them classics for a lot of people. Hans Zimmer is and was a god among men as far as movie music goes. You know the final battle between Simba and Scar in the first lion king movie was only 23 seconds long? Those 23 seconds epitomized the lions spirit in my mind forever. I cry tears of shame whenever I see the crud on the disney channel nowadays

The ending of Toy Story 3. The whole room, I swear, of little kids, moms, and some nostalgic teenagers such as myself were reduced to sniveling.

Damn you, Pixar. DAMN YOU!!

Jesus people, he said MANLY tears. Crying at Toy Story 3 is not manly, manly would be crying while watching epic meal time just because of the sheer epicocity.

This right here is the very definition of manly sadness.[Cid]
Best piece of music in any FF game. If ever there was a song that simultaneously encapsulated a character, expanded him to mythic proportions, and evoked amazing pathos, this is it.

I was going to say 'nothing.' Honestly, I think the last time I cried was when my brother died in Afghanistan.

I came damn close when I heard about:

One of my early childhood heroes dying.

The series finale of Battlestar Galactica and a fair chunk of season four makes me weep tears of sorrow everytime I watch them. D:

I swear to god, less than five minutes left in the show and Baltar finds a way to make me just break down and cry...
