What makes you depressed?

Unfortunately, living in one of the sunniest states in the country, sunlight always gets me down a little bit. It doesn't make me feel like nothing's worth it, but it definitely puts a damper on my mood until clouds either roll in or the sun goes down.
There's also the thought of losing my best friends, all three of which are very unstable, which gets to me.

Finally, End of Evangelion. No other movie has left me feeling so drained by the end that I had to take a day off.

Heh, the thing is, I'm clinically depressed and really, I have no idea what's making me that way, neither does the doctor. Considering how it seems to be a common thing in my family to suddenly become depressed, I guess it's genes.

When talking about being depressed as in being generally sad or anxious, I don't know -- very few things get me down. I can name several improvements that could be made in the world, but I don't have many notable complaints. For one, this planet has too few dinosaurs.

I guess being born in the wrong kind of body is kinda depressing though, mostly because currently I can't do much about it. I'd like to transition someday, but I'm not sure if my country's gonna provide it to people like me. If I ever make enough money, I'll do something about it by myself.

The only thing that really depresses me is that in life, the best you can really hope for is that you can make someone else's life just a little bit better.

That's pretty much why I want to be a doctor.

Everyday drudgery, insipid conversations and the constant sense of 'deja vu' that follows. Though it doesn't really make me depressed, just generally gloomy and unhappy.
This is probably just me having a particularly cynical and childishly bleak episode, but it's not really all that cheerful when it lasts for several weeks.

Depressing music makes me depressed, but I like listening to it sometimes. I find that particular flavor of sadness to be kind of enjoyable. I'm different.

-Uni Course Deadlines
-Being away from home
-Having no money
-No hot water
-Wars and the pointless waste of life

I'm sure there are other things, but I must've pushed those to the back of my mind.

Walking into Uni a few days ago and having to learn, in depth, about the murder of babies and eventually children by the Nazies... all done before i even had breakfast.

Also during my first year, learning a different genocide each week at 9:00a.m.

Also i'm a little depressed that my social life has been shit for the past like 2 years and i'm only just realising...
