I overreact whenever my 3D Modelling lecturers call me a programmmer. It really annoys me.
Because it seems like the logic is "Oh, you needed help in tutorials during your first semester of ever learning 3D Modeeling, you must be programmar, since you must be far more strictly logic minded if you have trouble with a modelling package that has 300 unexplained buttons in it."
"Why do you call me a programmer?"
"Well, you take programming don't you?"
"Yeah, but I also take THIS."
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
It just seems like an excuse to take me less seriously. I've stopped asking for help since all the responses I get are either a quick solution that I just didn't know combined with what feels like a shroud of condescension, or them actually having to stop and think about it like it's a legitmate problem, and it's almost impossible to tell when it's going to be either of those.
