I overreact whenever my 3D Modelling lecturers call me a programmmer. It really annoys me.

Because it seems like the logic is "Oh, you needed help in tutorials during your first semester of ever learning 3D Modeeling, you must be programmar, since you must be far more strictly logic minded if you have trouble with a modelling package that has 300 unexplained buttons in it."

"Why do you call me a programmer?"
"Well, you take programming don't you?"
"Yeah, but I also take THIS."

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

It just seems like an excuse to take me less seriously. I've stopped asking for help since all the responses I get are either a quick solution that I just didn't know combined with what feels like a shroud of condescension, or them actually having to stop and think about it like it's a legitmate problem, and it's almost impossible to tell when it's going to be either of those.

I'm generally quite good at keeping calm although my family know how to wind me up.

I will overreact to a couple of things though. First and foremost is when someone breaks a deal, particularly when I have held up my end.

People overreact to my lack of reacting. :|

Possibly the only thing that rubs me the wrong way is a guy who's being misogynistic and thinking he's impressing me. Even then the most dramatic thing I do is just ask him to leave me alone in a very dangerous voice and then walk away.

...

...

That's overreacting in my world bubble. '-'
For whatever my forum posting says about me, here in real world town phasing me is considered a feat only achieved by people I love and in very dire circumstances.

This is one of my personal favourites , a live studio version of spread your wings. Another great song written by Deacon that is largely overlooked.

Oh god, I overreact all the time, so yeah, here we go:
In no particular order, I treat them (almost) equally:

- Fanboys
- Apple (although I own an iPod, so I'm a hippocrite with that one)
- When I'm in a call with my GF and Skype is deciding to be a dick
- My phones battery/ reception
- Angela Merkel and her party
- If people say that WWII has to be looked at from both sides and people who defend the German army as just doing its job and following orders
- The website of the Uni I go to
- People who defend Windows 8
- Religious nuts, who either are trying to preach, or are blaming everything on a single religion (e.g. people saying that muslims will destroy us)
- Nazis / even the slightest racist tendency
- PETA
- Online games
- People who say that Linux would be too complicated
- People defending Sarkeesian for everything, even though there is valid critisism to be said/ the poopieheads that tried to silence her
- My English at times, god is it hard to do it correctly
- For some reason I really dislike the idea of the Gaymercon. I would really like to see the big cons being just for everyone and not just "for the straight people" (that's how it kinda sounds like to me) Gaming should include everyone to the main group and not that everyone has their own little group within the community.
- Elitism
- Hipsterism
- CoD kiddies

Last but by no means least:
- Sexism

EDIT: I forgot the most important: If people dislike either A Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, or Futurama :|

Spoilered for wall of text.
Tl;Dr: I rage because of everything

Captcha: the end is near
indeed it is

Yeah, although I don't like any religion. And I don't really get angry anymore, I kind of just find it funny now.
I actually found out that one girl was religious in my class. She was all like "Yes, I do believe that God exists". When I heard that I slowly turn my head away from my laptop and was about to tell her my opinion on the matter, then I realized that if I did that I would be kind of an ass. But damn, I wanted to.
Moved into Halls recently, and a mate friend yesterday said she believed in God, Heaven and Hell. Me and this guy she's been seeing had to bite our tongues so hard I'm surprised they didn't flop out onto the floor.

This. Comments like this make me overreact. As a catholic it's hard not to take offense when people spew hatred like this all over my beliefs.
I don't want to start a flame war. I know it's something that comes with the internet, people are free to express opinions and all that jazz, but I just don't get it. How can someone despise something as broad as Christianity? In fact I don't care what religion it is. I've defended Islam before from people who seem to think all Muslims are secretly terrorists.

It's just not fair to take the worst examples of a people and use that as the standard to judge them by. We catholics believe in evolution, we support all forms of scientific advancement, we're not crazy, some of us even support abortion and other controversial medical issues.
Well, I think that when people say that they hate religion, they actually mean that they hate people that represent it in a negative way, i.e. pedophile priests/science hating conservatives (catholisism), corrupt priests that serve not God, but rulling party (Slavic ortodoxial church), etc.
"It's not God I hate. I just hate His fanclub" - some anonymous.

OT: I'm rather positive guy, but I really dislike obnoxious, agressive people, who think that they are always the only ones who are correct, whose views are the only ones rhat have right to exist. And about things they don't like/understand they think: "I don't like/understand it, so it is for "fags" and is too stupid for my great self to even deal with".

When people call Skyrim an "incomplete game".

When people think they know about my religion more than me.

When people walk around publicly with guitars because they can play "that one rift from Stairway to Heaven".

And especially when a friend of mine who plays exclusively FPS (Call of Duty) tries to tell me what makes a good game.

And Democrats. Not that they're bad people or idiots (or anything...) most of them just piss me off.

People who cannot admit when they are wrong. My father is the grand champion of this and for all his other lovely qualities this one makes me eat my own face with frustration. The man can argue both sides of the argument on the same day and, when you point out that only hours ago he said the exact opposite thing, he'll refuse to believe you and ask for some kind of evidence.

How do I find evidence for a conversation?!

Also, women/children who act so aggressive and argumentative that the people around them are the ones in trouble. Few people are going to hit a woman or child, but they're in a punchy mood and the person standing next to them will do. Feel free to antagonise a stranger to the point of blind rage but please don't involve me in this.

EDIT-

Since religion has once again become hot-topic of the thread, the one thing I'll add is that I don't have a problem with religious individuals unless they pick and choose which parts of their belief systems to follow.

If you're Christian and you dislike homosexuals, don't have sex before you marry, and regularly attend church, then I respect you. If you, however, are a homosexual Christian with an active sex life who's never gone to church with the exception of a few ceremonies then I can't take you seriously; I just see it as having your cake and eating it.

I only ever get verbally angry when I'm on my own, and it's usually at trivial things. Like others have said, electronics not behaving as they should, being unable to correctly do something that's really small scale and very slight sounds when I'm trying to sleep.

People who like to control other people, bossy people, people who like to feel other bad about themselves, bullies, injustice.

When companies do thing favour commercialism instead of quality. If make good quality products they're going to sell! Simple as that. And let me give you an example. Star Wars original trilogy were amazing movies because they were fun, innovative, creative and even had a spiritual message. The characters were amazing and likeable. But then Lucas focused solely on the filthy money. He made a movie with an idiot brat because he thought that kids were too dumb to like a movie without a kid as protagonist. He made an unfunny comic relief character because he thinks that's what sells. He put CGI because it's cheaper, but it looks so fake it makes you want to fart. This kind of BS gets on my nerves!

Directors, developers, musicians... They all should focus on art! If art is good then it should sell without the need to make big marketing campaigns.

The previous point brings me to another thing I hate. Dumbing down things to the lowest common denominator. Art in general should elevate us, make human beings better. But lately everything is becoming an idiocracy.

Other things that make overreact are kids. They're generally noisy and annoying. Even worse are the parents that let them do whatever they want.

I also hate people making noise in the cinemas.

I overreact about the years 2000. What an awful decade!

And I also hate the fact that I usually don't overreact, so I keep all the hate to myself, when I should be punching someone in the face instead.

Anti-Theism.

Obviously I've come out of this thread being annoyed at people

Innuendo is good, its almost as good as liar.

OT: People that don't listen, they just try to talk over you all the time to prove they are right.

Religion in general used to be a hot button for me. Anything related to it (I was somewhat of a militant atheist, if you will). But lately, I've begun to find it harder and harder to care anymore. When you think about it there's no point at all to get angry about anything that's indirectly related to you. The world can go to metaphorical hell, I've stopped giving a damn.

The only thing that really gets me is technology I paid for that does not work.
It just gets me so very very mad.

I'm pretty much calm and collective overall however recently I don't take kindly when someone I know called me an ass over a trivial matter (not in a joke sort of way). Sure I forgive the person if the person apologies but this person didn't.
Just to be clear I am a vengeful just of guy and can hold grudges like how I refuse to keep in touches with the formers friends back in high school due to them tormenting me during my high school years.
