Lack of manners, it costs nothing to be civil and I am always civil to everyone I meet, even if I don't like them or don't know them.

All the stupid remakes, reboots and sequels Hollywood is making these days. Where are the original, fresh ideas?

Also the lack of originality in games, now that they're more mainstream, but it's nowhere as bad as in films.

Politicians

Bossy bosses

People that can't be friendly or at least polite

Star Wars prequels

Jocks or people obsessed with sports

Vegetarian people that look down on you because you like meat

People that can't be tolerant with whoever has a different point of view

How important money is in this society and how hard it is to obtain it

'00 decade. Everything seemed to go downhill since then. Music, movies, world economy. Thankfully things are slightly better since this decade began IMO

Games that don't have proper or good endings. Weren't the developers expecting anyone to finish their game in the first place?

Hypocrisy and ESPECIALLY narrow minded people.

Got in a serious verbal fight with a uncle of mine last week because he can't see things aside from the ones he created in his personal little 1970's world...

I have a few. I never really voice them because I'ts not my buisness how others live thier lives BUT:

- Judging my character because im a man. e.g 'All men want is sex'

- Both religeous and non-religous extremists

- Just because I have a long fringe and colourfull hair does not mean I'm 'Emo' or 'Scene'
im just a fan of well cared for and flashy hair.

- Just because I call a man beautiful. Does not mean Im gay. Im confident and brave enough
to say what I think without the prosecution.

- On that note, if a make a remark on a womans looks. It does not mean I specifically want to
get in her pants. Not to say that sometimes I do

- I listen to metal. But that doesnt mean I cant enjoy other music

- Americans

- Governments making decisions without knowing (or caring) what the people think.
Or an ignorance to what they are talking about (SOPA for example)

- Sexism, both sides.

- Hate crime. I just cant comprehend how you could hate another person that much, just because
they a different race.

- Narrow minded attitudes and hypocrisy

- Vegans, and vegetarians that look down opon 'Meat-Eaters'

Probably other stuff, but that all I can think of right now

Women who have a sense of entitlement because they are women

Examples that make me want to burn a bra (with a woman in it) include:

- Holding a door open for a stream of people, having every man thank me or nod, while women stride on through as if I'm paid to make their life easier.

.
haha its funny just seeing this after posting my angrey feminist rant

cant say I can dispute any of those points though

but yeah the door thing is an interesting issue (because I hear people actually getting cirticised for holding the door open for women..in some extrmeme cases) I find it interesting how many men occasionally hold a door open for me or "let me go first" out the elevator

unfortunatly some people over complicate the issue, or expcet certain things based on gender

I dont whats so hard about about just being friggen polite and holding a door open if they need it (regardless of gender) and thanking them for holding a door open for you (no angry feminst, its not some kind of chivalry/mysogany just say thank you and walk through)
I agree that it is a bit silly - but totally harmless - when men go out of their way to help women specifically because they are women. That said, my parents raised me to be stupidly polite but to both genders; I'm the type of guy who gets stuck behind doors because he's opened it for a crowd of people and I'm not sure when to let go...

Also agreed, even a nod or a smile, some acknowledgement that I went out of my way for a stranger would be lovely. I don't do it to feel good about myself, it's just hard-wired in, but at the same time I think men are less likely to have the door opened for them so they are more likely to thank an individual for doing so while some women tend to think they deserve it for having soft bits on their chest.

I also consider myself a bit of a raging feminist when it comes to some issues, but I was the one male in a large friendship group of women for five years and it did irk me the way many would just expect me to do things for them when they were quite capable themselves.

EDIT -

Branching off from my own points, very much this. I've got to the point where I've stopped giving women hugs, complimenting them, or indeed touching them if it can be helped because of the amount of people that assume that when I hug them (after hugging every single person goodbye prior to them) it must be some secret way of getting my genitals as close to theirs as possible, and when I say "You change your hair, it looks nice" it means "I studied your Facebook photos in a dimly-lit room, furiously masturbating for hours, prior to seeing you today and I can't help but notice your hair has changed."

Also, non-religious extremists? Would you mind if I asked your opinion on who fits such a description? I genuinely can't imagine how one would even go about being a non-religious extremist. o.o

People like this (maybe more extreme) because of things like this

Its fucking creepy. Its a flag. And some land you were born on. Take yourselves less seriously, it doesnt hurt.

People who think certain things are 100% exempt from jokes or have special privilage not to be made fun of. You can make fun of ANYTHING. If i make fun of you, make fun of me! Im ok with it, the emphasis is on fun. Making fun of something (in my literal definition) is making light of it, making everyone laugh, and its best done to yourself. Cmon people, dont take things so goddam seriously, is your precious whatever so freaking weak and fragile it cant stand a little joke? Thats kinda sad. If everyone laughs at everyone, everyones laughing. Sounds better than a world where we arent allowed to laugh at things, or make light of everything, or tell jokes. Laughing at yourself is the best kind of laughter.

-_- OK, now you are taking that too literally. When I say freedom, I dont mean Anarchy-free or Liberitarian-free. If the world was a vacuum, I would be fine with those, but its not, so I mean Republic-free. I think the western world is free enough now. Its Africa and the middle-east that I was talking about. The ones suffering under dictatorships, child-soldiers (oh, look, I just remember another rage: People who hurt children [unless it is punishment]), militias that shoot first and dont even care later, sherria law (dont think I spelled that right). So to that end...
*even bigger flame shield up*

...I supported Iraq, Afganistan, and Vietnam. Just to name a few. So does my girlfriend, who thinks pretty much the same way as I do, but more "extreme." Plus, most of thoses countries mentioned also broke my "genocide" rule as well, so thier leader should be blown away on those charges alone. Now mix in that they are a dictator, I would be willing to say that not even a MOAB wouldnt be enough of what they deserve. As for my other super-rages:
If you live in America, show a little patriotism. You could move to another country sure...I bet you regret it in the first month, because what you can get away with in America, you cant elsewhere.
For respecting the military, I meant more the latter than the former, although I prefer people respect the military as an institituion as well. But I can handle them hating the US Army(tm). I CAN NOT STAND people hating the US army though. Those boys have been though hell to keep you safe, and then you go and spit on them because you didnt like the war. What happened to us?!! After WW2, soldiers came home to ticker-tape parades, military bands, people having put BILLIONS of thier own dollars into the war though War Bonds (a process I REALLY want to bring back). And now, nothing. They come home, and no one except family is waiting for them. I blame Vietnam for that, when people where waiting all right...to call them "Warmonger", "Murderers", "Baby-killers", and worse. I will NEVER!!! forgive the 'nam war protesters for that.
As for burning the American Flag, that is the downright, most unpatriotic thing to do, EVER! even in the event of protest! You want to protest the government? Hang the flag upside-down, wash it. But DO NOT burn it or stomp on it. That is not protest, thats saying you want America to be destroyed, just as you are destroying her flag. As for "its just a piece of cloth..."

True, in my opinion all big three allies (the Soviet Union, America and Britain)were all needed to secure victory, it's the comments that imply the US won the war single-handedly and didn't need the other two that piss me off.

I don't RAGE anymore, not after the last few times... those memories still haunt me...

But things that irritate me, well there are a lot of those, let me list you a few.

-Whiny wimpy guys who ***** about never having a woman, who are then determined to list every piece of advice I give them as unrealistic or just wrong, even though their method is OBVIOUSLY NOT WORKING FOR THEM, I usually tell them to stop bitching at me if they don't want help, but they always tell me about how horribly they're failing or how lonely they are, it's a never ending cycle, well it would be if I didn't just tell them to get help elsewhere and never talk to them again, they were ok friends when not bitching but over time it builds up and gets more frequent.

-Women who decide the best thing to do during a first date with me is to natter on and on about shoes or hair products and not even let me say anything at all, no I didn't leave you sitting in a coffee shop because you're not pretty, I left you there because your incessant retardation causing natter almost put me into a coma, please, talk about something that heterosexual men can at least kinda relate to, and then let them respond, after all, with so much to talk about hell even telling me about the last time you rode a bus and that smelly guy sat in front of you is more interesting than shoes, because lemme tell you, I ride the bus, i can relate!

-People who cannot bend their tiny little minds around the fact that a man working at a gas station isn't nescessarily there due to being too stupid for other work, after all people need to eat, and pay rent, and you gotta take what you can get in this job market. Does give me a nice treat seeing the suprise on their faces when they ask me a question and I give them an answer detailing every aspect of what they're wondering about in full detail, and some advice on how to solve their difficulty, hell after I explained something to a customer the next customer in line told me and I quote "You should charge people for that kinda advice, you'd make a killing" seriously, I'm far from stupid, I work the register so I can feed myself.

-People who have the strange idea that because I've studied several martial arts(to a degree, I'm no black belt, but I am proficient), that I'm a violent person, this cannot be farther from the truth, though I wouldn't advise trying to cause me harm unless you really know what you're doing or are armed with a gun at significantly greater than arms length distance, I can and will defend myself appropriately.

-Also, women who make outrageous demands, and or try and control me, if you say "If you play wow I'll dump you." I'm more likely to reactivate my account just to spite you, than I am to give in to such a stupid demand, one should take into account that I'm a disciplined individual, if I game it doesn't interfere with the rest of my life at all, or telling me that they'll dump me if i get rid of my beard, or if I shave my head, by the way I will look how I WANT to look, I look good in a large variety of styles, so I change my look every once in awhile.

There are many many more things to list, but since I would write about each and every one of them in great detail, with examples, I'll just stop here, those are my top ones.

Superficial/Benign Rave (#1):

Restaurants & people than live in places where they have multiple-basin kitchen sinks... and use more than 1 basin for any particular task (i.e., using 2 quarter-full basins just for soaking or scrubbing). It's a personal quirk that gets to OCD-status, but just irks me to the point where I want to do it for them sometimes.

Meaningful Rant:

I'm frankly tired of Caucasian women that (ethnically) hail from post-imperialist/colonialist European countries that can't see that they've had it pretty good, in comparison to us brown folk, for the better part of the last millennium. And yes, even the United States, and to a certain extent, Canada, count.

Seriously... you think being a professionally-pidgeonholed, glorified "breeding mare for the state" (thank you for that one George Carlin, you will forever be missed) has historically been rough? Try having been African, Indigenous American, Indigenous Australian, southeast-Asian or Indian living in slavery in your own country and abroad. Try being one of us even now, you're perception on who's gotten a "raw deal" will drastically change.

Superficial/Benign Rave (#2):

I can't stand people how can't be bothered to make a clarified, specifically accurate statement whilst giving instructions or describing something. If I'm doing a task and you give broad, generalised instructions on how to continue/finish you have no right, or logical reason (in my book), to complain at the results of said task.

See the key difference between a joke and an insult the intent and meaning behind them. If i say "black people cant swim" and mean it, im maliciously propagating ignorance that i actually believe. If i make a joke about it i obviously DONT really think it, its not malicious, and no harm was meant by it. I mean who gets upset because someone pretended to think something bad? Are they THAT soft? Also if people do get offendedi take this attitude.

For someone keen on liberty you seem to be against:

People saying bad things about your country
People doing actions you dont like
People making jokes you dont like

What happened to freedom?

"YOU SAID STUFF I DONT LIKE SO GET OUT" I think was one of your points. I thought america was a country where you could say whatever? I dont think anyone in england takes that attitude. Are we more free than you? I like England, but i have irrational ties to it, i wouldnt defend it to the death just because i was rammed through a vagina in this island. What the fuck does that have to do with its quality as a country? Make it above critisism? Better than everyone else?

http://www.xkcd.com/588/

Apply these to countries. Being indoctrinated to love a flag without any meaning behind it is stupid. Or a bit of land. Defend the rights, the people, the things that matter. Someone in your country is dying of an easily preventable disease right now in a "first world" country and you care more someones burning a flag? I think i know which one the biggest offence to free america.

I don't get completely pissed off a lot, but one thing that irritates me so much is when I'm eating next to someone and they keep scraping their teeth aganist their metal forks.

Oh, another one is when a girl tries to get some guy's attention by talking loud or arguing with her friends. The friends are all like "What the hell" and most likely the guy is getting annoyed at her loud voice.

Lastly, I hate it when people go off about guys a lot. I know some of them are complete idiots but I hate when people stereotype guys in general. I have a bunch of guy friends that are gentlemen but feel bad because every female besides their best friends believes all they want is to get in some girl's pants.

Hmph i fell better now

The ist thing can be funny, if you do it with the obvious intention of being funny with the right group of people. But then occasionally you get the horror when you realize someone seriously said it.

Also related to your first point. Yes, entirely. Specifically someone who believes that watching a few episodes of "Brian Cox has a stupid accent" puts you on the same level as someone who's been doing a degree for 3 and a half years. I'm wondering how many more times I have to hear "You're doing a quantum mechanics dissertation? I heard that's really easy!" before I'm legally allowed to set fire to someone.
You're doing a quantum mechanics dissertation? As a physics student, that's really fucking hard! And probably a bad idea.

OT: I don't really get angry, except at wilful stupidity/ignorance. People who don't understand something, but refuse to even make the effort to comprehend it. One of my lab partners for last semester, basically

Pretty much when my family telling me how to live out my life or job related stuff. I'm fine the way I am (antisocial) since I accept who I am (I don't get depress for being single etc) and no one should tell me otherwise (only I get to decide if I want to change my apperance etc).
