I know it sounds like an obvious question with an obvious answer- you play games to make you feel good, right?
But does anyone ever get really contrasting emotions from playing games? I mean on the one hand, if I sit down and play a game of say, tekken, with my friends, when we finish I feel really accomplished that I've socialised and had a laugh.
But on the other hand, if i sit for like 3 hours playing something like fallout 3 and get barely anywhere in the game (or just generally waste daylight hours), I come out the other side feeling worse for the experience and it puts me off playing the game for a while and detracts from the reason I've sat down to play the damn thing, to have fun!
Does it take a certain type of game to put you in a better mood? And are their any games you have that you really like, but can turn you into a miserable bastard?
(Sorry if this is a bad thread, just trying to keep discussion original)
