What mood do certain games put you in?

I know it sounds like an obvious question with an obvious answer- you play games to make you feel good, right?

But does anyone ever get really contrasting emotions from playing games? I mean on the one hand, if I sit down and play a game of say, tekken, with my friends, when we finish I feel really accomplished that I've socialised and had a laugh.

But on the other hand, if i sit for like 3 hours playing something like fallout 3 and get barely anywhere in the game (or just generally waste daylight hours), I come out the other side feeling worse for the experience and it puts me off playing the game for a while and detracts from the reason I've sat down to play the damn thing, to have fun!

Does it take a certain type of game to put you in a better mood? And are their any games you have that you really like, but can turn you into a miserable bastard?

(Sorry if this is a bad thread, just trying to keep discussion original)

Well, the only games to draw out feelings were The Wizard of Oz and Silver Surfer, both for the NES.
Both were so incredibly hard, that all I could feel was furious anger.

Good games take me away from real life and suicide/making antimatter generators.

Bad games make me rage.

Yeahhh, Nazi Zombies makes me feel really on edge for some reason :/

COD campaigns usually make me feel really tense and annoyed after too (Usually because of the number of grenades that kill me...)
