So since we're all obviously using computers (unless there's smartphone people here), we all probably have some sort of mouse.

What do you use and why?

For my desktop I have a Logitech MX Revolution...I got it because it was on sale, I like Logitech, it has a rechargeable battery, and it's damn weird-looking.

For my laptop I have a Logitech VX Revolution...found it on sale, the receiver lives inside the mouse (and it automatically turns off when it's inside), it only takes one AA, and I like Logitech. :)

I also have one of those Bluetooth mice that hides inside a laptop's PCI card slot and recharges its battery.

EDIT: I hit shift + return for some reason after I typed the topic...doh!

The God-aweful thing on my laptop. Even accidentally touching the mouse button, not actual clicking, makes it rapid-fire click.

Some weird brand called Ace MCLU1000 with 1600 DPI.
Got it for $15 which is fairly cheap for it.

There's a Swedish review of it here [http://www.sweclockers.com/articles_show.php?id=6135&page=2]

No mouse since I use a laptop. God, I really need to get one soon, I can't play Halo anymore because I'm not used to using my right hand for the arrow keys and left for the mouse, before I got the laptop it was the other way round and I'm still not used to it. Means I now suck at multiplayer, which never happened before because I'm too good with a sniper rifle... :(.

Laptop touch pad.

I'm glad I was able to figure out how to turn off that taping thing. It was driving me crazy.

Just remap the buttons, or get a gamepad.

My 20 dollar USB laser logitech mouse, that I've had for about 6 years now, and it still works perfectly.

Of course, I don't like shooters on the PC, since it just doesn't quite seem as smooth....
I'm just a console girl at heart.

Tried, but my laptop's crap and the gamepad doesn't work for some bizarre reason. As for remapping the buttons, I tried that as well but I just can't get back the skill I had before. Using WASD instead of the arrows is pretty tough at the best of times when you're not used to it, but when you factor in some guy trying to pwn you with a shotgun on Blood Gulch every time you respawn it adds that bit of bonus difficulty...

*inspects mouse*

Logitech apparently. I've had this thing for about 3 years now. Its got right left and middle click with a scroll wheel and it fits my hand comfortably. I see no need to upgrade at this time.

Logitech G5 v2. The scroll is a bit loud but otherwise it's great and it looks so damn sexy.

Logitech VX Nano [http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_pointers/mice/devices/3271&cl=us,en]

I like Logitech, its very compact and has a hyper-fast scroll wheel. Plus it looks pretty cool :p

I've got the Logitech MX1000 Laser (the mouse itself only says MX Laser but I looked it up and it says MX1000 Laser). Very nice. I believe it came with the keyboard, which is also very nice.
