That is the worst title.
Of all time.
Ever.

Anyway I sometimes start singing "chasing Cars" when playing Gears of War. Other than that I find out of game music to get in they way of playing.

usually the in game soundtrack because my TV in my living room and by stereo/compute/music playing device is in my room. Though all of those things are 5 meters away I'm usually too lazy to get up.

Racing games are the only games I'll listen to my own music with.
I have a specific playlist for streaming to my 360/PS3 while playing PGR/Forza/Wipeout/GT which comprises of a mix of Pendulum, Queens Of The Stoneage, The Prodigy, Muse, Bloc Party and Dragonforce.

Otherwise, I'd rather have the atmosphere that the developers intended.

Also, your grammar sucks.

During a good round of UT definitely some hardcore/gabber, as it really pumps up the action.
I like some Bongra during a Metal Slug game, and I listen to jazz during Civilization 4 games.

It depends on the game. Hell, it depends on what I'm doing in the game.
Like in Warhawk: If I'm running and gunning on the ground, I'm likely to put on metal (Sepultura's Rattamahatta is especially good: percussive), punk(ska too), and (Gangsta) rap.
But if I feel like taking to the skies, I'll scroll down to the more whimsical part of the playlist. Lot's of Jazz & Blues (Mingus, Marino, Seatbelts/Cowboy Bebop, and Blues Bros) and progressive rock.

Listening to an album all the way through during a gaming session is an excellent way to time yourself if you get a bit lost in it. When the music stops, you stop. I've been rescued from all nighters on Mount And Blade by Catch 22 countless times.

I'm very picky about music. If the soundtrack isn't perfect, I've got at least 2GB worth of orchestral scores (adagios, minuets, toccattas, etc). For instance, in Shadow of the Colossus, or any game composed by Jeremy Soule, I just let the music on, since it's wonderfully perfect. However, in, for instance, WoW, where the music is disastrous, I'll play something from my playlist.

I listen to the given soundtrack? I don't really have music I put over the game, but I would look for the game's music later in different renditions. (Orchestrated MGS theme FTW!)

Depends on the game really
Burnout Games=Drivers high, Nexus 4, Route 666
FPS's=...it really depends on the game(Like Time Shift and Megaman Music)
Fighting Games=Stuff to get me pumped(Like Battle Conditions from Lost Odyssey for Dissidia)

I like Banana phone because it's great for FPSs. :D

But really, Videotape by Radiohead really sets an intense mood when you play any game, which is why I like it.

I usually play some sort of metal (no metalcore), mostly Death Metal, Doom, Thrash, that kind of stuff. Stuff that just give me that boost of adrenaline.
