and nobody listens to the FACTS like the RECORDED 2 million people saved each year guns and the ESTIMATED 2 million that go UNRECORDED.CM156 said:No kidding. My state (Missour) isn't well liked by the Brady people. I think that means we're doing something right! (Kidding, kidding)Jegsimmons said:people being offended so much that have to offend a majority to save the feeling of a minority.....in other words, cry baby pansies.
same here, maby we should spread the news that 80 miilion people in the US are registered gun owners...CM156 said:People who assume that just because I'm a gun enthusiast of sorts that I'm a ticking time bomb, or that I'm dangerous. Yeah, that's not the case.
Personally, I'm a bit shocked that our culture has this taboo around guns. I know people who'll openly talk about sex, but the moment guns are brought up, they shy away from the conversation. Pity.
think of it this way, if some crazed man comes into your house and treatens to harm you or those you love, which would you prefer:Jegsimmons said:and nobody listens to the FACTS like the RECORDED 2 million people saved each year guns and the ESTIMATED 2 million that go UNRECORDED.CM156 said:No kidding. but nooooooo, it's just the 9000 that die each year, even though a huge chuck is gang on gang violence and /or committed with guns that are not legally bought.
and then we have Europeans chimeing in on how gun violence is out of control, even thou the swiss have near identical gun laws. Never really takeing note about the fact we have 300 million people and near open borders, one of which is a LITERAL WAR ZONE (40,000 casualties in 4 years is a terrible thing, poor mexico)
also have you noticed the more anti-gun states and areas have higher crime? LA, CHICAGO, NEW YORK, ect. yet the red states (minus border states obviously, because you know) tend to have less home invasion and over all crime? at least it is here, and everyone owns a gun here (Alabama)
a big gun, because shooting twice is too expensive nowadays.CulixCupric said:think of it this way, if some crazed man comes into your house and treatens to harm you or those you love, which would you prefer:Jegsimmons said:and nobody listens to the FACTS like the RECORDED 2 million people saved each year guns and the ESTIMATED 2 million that go UNRECORDED.CM156 said:No kidding. 1) a Gun
or
2) a rolling pin?
i think i want a gun.
This, especially when they begin demanding punishment for the person who is offending them just because they are offended. They don't think about what the repercussions of their actions would be if that person really WAS punished for being offensive and essentially say "I can say what I want but you can't because it offends me."Joos said:People who get offended easily offends me.
I want a rolling pin that turns into a gun that shoots rolling pins.CulixCupric said:think of it this way, if some crazed man comes into your house and treatens to harm you or those you love, which would you prefer:Jegsimmons said:and nobody listens to the FACTS like the RECORDED 2 million people saved each year guns and the ESTIMATED 2 million that go UNRECORDED.CM156 said:No kidding. You don't, and I respect you for that, but unfortunately admitting you're an atheist can get you scorn like you wouldn't believe in an area like mine. Seriously, when you're yelled at by a group of people saying you're the worst kind of person in the world there's something wrong. It works both ways, is all I'm saying.Volf99 said:Also, hating religion for the sake of it and atheist that talk down to people who do believe in a certain religion. You don't like organized religion, or religion in general for that matter, fine, but shut the f*ck about telling me why I'm "wrong" for believing in something. I don't go to atheist and talk/type down to them, I'd ask that they do the same.
Yes I realize that its not one sided. Someone typed it before, but I'll repeat it, "your religious beliefs are like a penis, keep it to yourself and don't force it down somebody's throat". I don't like when either group makes an @ss out of themselves by insulting the opposing group.Vausch said:You don't, and I respect you for that, but unfortunately admitting you're an atheist can get you scorn like you wouldn't believe in an area like mine.
