Hatred is something pretty goddamn common on the internet, most of it has to do with hype, if all you ever hear is how godly something is you are going to be let down completely, leading many people to talk about how overrated it is like they are the first people to actually notice.

Yes, Twilight is nothing more than a abstinence message about how woman are completely useless without men.
But you know what? Overrated dosnt mean bad, it just means not as good, one could argue that anything is overhyped if they lived in a right place or something.
Avatar's plot might be as week as a scifi channel original movies but that dosnt take away the fact that it has one of the best fictional universes and settings ever made.
Halo might be one of the reason every game feels the need to insert multiplayer into its games but you know what? Halo is a fucking fun as hell party game, get a bunch of friends to play it at a party and its a good damn time.
Twilight is a message about abstinence but its also HAHA im just kidding theres nothing good about this stupid piece of trash.
What im trying to say is that while overhyped in no way means good, it dosnt always mean bad, one could argue that games like Shadow of the Collosus is overhyped but that isnt going to stop people from always always! mention it whenever the whole "games are art?" argument comes up.
