People who are too self-revelatory. I had a basic anatomy class once that had an unusual amount older students (late 20s and some 40 year olds). These students felt waaay to comfortable to ask the professor (of a BASIC anatomy course, mind you) about their health problems. It happened all the freaking time and it was often concerning stuff that no one wants to know. I mean things that if you were given a warning, you would plug your ears. Why? Shut up and learn.

Personally, I hate the people who think that their lives suck.

Like one of my friends, who somehow, despite being one of the most immature and stupidest persons at our school, still manages to get about every other girl to want to bone him.

Yet he still manages to think that it really sucks to be him.

This kid got caught selling weed and got three weeks of grounding. And then he tries to make me feel sorry for him.

I got a weeks worth of grounding for my dog peeing on the floor.

Edit: Also, (I am not sure if this is a personality trait) I despise people who state the obvious or most popular choice of the time just to get attention and to be agreed(?) with.

For instance; Youtube "Foo Fighters is the best band in the world, thumbs up this comment if you agree!" (on a Foo Fighters music video), And this stupid facebook group that I am now seeing "Just because you are Muslim Does NOT mean you are a terrorist... like this if you agree". No shit being Muslim doesnt make you a terrorists, is this really something you need to agree on?

Whatever personality trait that causes people to message you saying "hey, what's up" or whatever else, and then causes them to then ignore the rest of the conversation.

Hmm, people who are superficial, self-righteous and disrespectful people would be in the top three.

People who act like they are experts at something when they dont know shit.

I walk into class with a Jimi Hendrix t-shirt
friend: What's so cool about Jimi Hendrix?
Me: He revolutionized how the electric guitar is played.
Friend: No he didn't, there were guitarists who sounded like that before the 80's

I shit you not.

overly happy/positive people tend to get knifed in the face by me.

I knew a man who was basically a walking Hallmark card. He quoted Tuesdays With Morrie on end, listened and cared about anyone's problems, always willing to be a shoulder to cry on, religious and tolerant/very liberal, and was loved by everyone.
I hated him so fucking much.

The ones that bother me the most, in no particular order, would be elitism, anti-theism, fanaticism in all its forms, and people who can't get over themselves.

This isn't exactly a personality trait, but I also hate it when people who don't want to talk just ignore me as opposed to saying "I'm having a bad day, I don't want to talk right now."

"Decafinated"
joke, my friend does that so much that he makes want to slap him on the back of the head
I would say
-pure emotional "thinkers"
-bipolar people who are not really bipolar
-Attention whores
-Elitist people

oh, and meek people. acting scared of everything and losing there cool at the drop of a hat.
Dude, your avatar kicks so much ass, where did you find it, I want one

OT: There are more then a few, but the one that I feel stands out(not because of degree, mind you, but because of it's diversity from the litter) is Hypocrisy. Nothing says more about someone when they themselves don't even believe what they're saying

P.S: As a side note, it pisses me off when people are so obsessed with their own superior knowledge, that they can't stand it when someone corrects them. It's more important that they be right them the truth be told

I-i-its not like I l-like these kind of p-personalities or anything! S-shut up! Stupid!!

I actually love these kind of personalities in video games and animes. Not sure how'd I react to them in real life though, probably would hate it.

I don't know if this is a personality trait, but another thing I hate is people who think overused/ancient jokes are still funny. My roommate keeps singing "still alive" because he thinks it's cool and funny.

It takes all my willpower not to correct him.

Passive Aggressiveness; c'mon, please, just SAY it.
Unjustified Arrogance; no, you have no right to be that much of a douche.
Domineering Hostility, man, you're harshing my buzz. Just got outta prison? Happy for ya.

Any of those three will seriously irk me.

"Pity Me. If you don't, you are an ass hole"

"LOOK AT ME! I'M AN ATTENTION WHORE!"

"Hating is cool! It makes me popular!"

I hate those 3...

Patriotic.
Honestly, the slightest bit of patriotism and they're off my "awesome people" list.
Although, if they're patriotic they probably didn't get on there in the first place.
Also, I don't actually have an "awesome people" list.

Elitist assholes. Anyone who subscribes to some belief and thinks that they are better than you because of it, it can be any ideal really. Vegetarians come to mind but only the ones that think you are some sort of sadomasochistic barbarian who tortures cute little animals if you eat one piece of meat.
Are you referring to vegans? They are usually more self righteous then vegetarians. Not that all vegans are like that, I'm just making a gross generalization that is probably highly inaccurate.

Arrogance, and being excessively positive. Arrogance for obvious reasons, and being excessively positive because it's just really irritating to hear others act like the world is just perfect. Actually, it's not. If you're an optimist, that's fine. But there's a limit to it.
