What program should I use here?

Hey guys, I have just had to recover my laptop to its factory settings and so have lost all my programs. I used to have MagicDisc...it let me mount ISOs on a virtual drive. I installed it a minute a go, and it will not work. Kept telling me to run it as an administrator because it could not run a certain driver.

I tried running as administrator, and I can't. The option to do so is greyed out, unselectable. So...either I fix this or get another mounting program. Does anyone know how to fix it? Or does anyone know another good mounting program?

Any good mounting program will probably require you to run it as an administrator. The only thing I'd suggest is create yourself an admin account and try and reinstall the program.

Yeh...oh shit That's whats wrong!

I never assigned this account specifically as an admin...it is the only account but somehow the fact that I didn't set a password is affecting it. This has happened to me before. I will set a password right now.

Also, know any other mounting progs?

i'd suggest you use PowerISO. i use it, and it's pretty damn good

I've had a lot of success with Daemon Tools. I think Nero has one built into their ginormous suite of programs.

Koolioes...I got it working. I don't know how...but not having a password set was stopping it working. Sigh. Done and done.
