It's actually three songs that together fans call the Holy Trinity. Disposition, Reflection and Triad.Screamarie said:I do not know you but you are a wonderful person. I have never heard that song before but I reallly, really like it. Thank you for sharing. ^-^silver wolf009 said:Good music.
The hum of a fan nearby.
Cool weather.
A nice time spent petting my dog.
While it's a rarity, getting a good massage.
Lying perfectly still before I drift off to sleep. Of course, for my goals, that's counter productive, but still.
Well I'll most likely be making the game freeware and available for download so I've thought of putting in music from multiple places, seeing how copyright wouldn't affect anything. But I agree, the lion king does have a pretty damn good OST.soren7550 said:The instrumental music from The Lion King (Hans Zimmer really earned that Oscar [he deserves more than the one, but if he is to have one, I'm glad it's for that]). But I don't think you'll be allowed to put that in this game of yours.
Psh, I could put masturbation in my game...... right?Sacman said:Good old masturbation... seriously...<.<
But considering you're making a game, i'd go for some soothing music... classical and romantic mostly...
I'm a big folk metal fan as well. What are some of your favorite bands? I love Finntroll, Korpiklaani and Equilibrium.Lectori Salutem said:Folk metal and a nice cup of tea work quite well for me
What kind of game are you making with what kind of programs? Sounds interesting I would like to hear more about it.AzureCastles said:What things relax you? Give specific examples of sights, sounds, feelings, etc. that relax you.
I am making a game that is designed to help people relax and overcome anxiety and depression and the idea is to make the player/the character traverse areas that relax him/her.
It's very simple and I'm trying not to misguide people. It's not supposed to be some game of epic proportions, here is my current design layout: The game is a 2d adventure game that controls like LIMBO (sidescrolling/platforming/etc.). The game doesn't need to be that long, perhaps between 45 min. - 1 hour, but the idea is that it helps the player to relax. The game also gives you many choices which creates different paths to travel along (creating replayability and making the game different each time you play it). I'm creating it using GameMaker 8.1 pro. A lot of people think that gamemaker is iffy on quality but I believe that it suits my purpose so I'm sticking to it. The game will (most likely) be freeware, available for download for free on the internet. Plain and simple: it's just an experiment. It's not something I want to go down in history for making, but I want to see if I can use seemingly irrelevant events (like, say, watering a plant and having it grow into something beautiful) to relax people, if that makes sense. I appreciate your interest in the game, and if you/anyone else has more questions, I'd be glad to answer them. Again, it's just an experimental game, it probably won't be the next cave story but that's not the point I suppose lol.Ando85 said:What kind of game are you making with what kind of programs?
