You know, I miss that guy. Kamarov was an interesting character, even if a little bipolar. A russian-nationalist (I think?) campaign would be very interesting, in my opinion.

I'm going to venture a guess and say that there won't be a Modern Warfare 3, at least it won't be made by Infinity Ward. Infinity Ward's developers have been saying for a few months now that they want to steer away from Call of Duty, and considering that 4 of the design leads have left in order to form their own independent development company (because they were sick of Activision's bullshit).

Then again, since Activision still has the distribution rights, there's a pretty good chance that they'll continue to exploit the franchise, but I don't think the games will continue to be produced by Infinity Ward.
Activision gave project MW3 to their new *****, Sledgehammer Games.

Single Player: Less Russians. The Cold War is over guys, get over it.

Multiplayer: Dedicated servers; fix the spawning. Its ridiculous.

Generally: If you're going to make a game with 6 hours play time, MAKE IT CHEAPER YOU ASS HATS

1) The ability to play through the campaign co-op.
2) Kill streak rewards that aren't quite so good. Predator missile - balanced. AC-130 - not so much.
3) Spawn protection (nothing like spawning outside under a harrier over and over again)
4) More Spec Ops would be awesome

EDIT: Dedicated servers and a more polished multiplayer lobby. Take the example of Battle.net
Predator Missiles ain't really saints, it is more of a point at who you want to die killstreak.
True. I suppose it justfeels more balanced than any of the others (other than UAV and Counter-UAV)

I know gen. sheperd will be back, because the throwing knife that went in his eye is just an excuse for him to to come back with an eye patch and another blak check from the retarded secretary of defence. I mean if that one guy from cod 4 can take a 50. cal in the arm, wich would thke someone out from the pure energy, then sheprad can take a tiny wittle knife to the face

Today I got a painkiller hitmarker with a Predator missile.

Yeah.

Also, I don't snipe but a 50 Cal bullet should be a one hit kill.
No, in balance terms, the Intervention should be the most powerful sniper, simply because it's the most difficult to use, the fact that the Barrett is just as powerful just makes the Intervention redundant.
Isn't the Intervention a 50 CAL?
Well now I look stupid....

1)Campaign coop
2)Make matchmaking and host migration work properly, or dedicated servers. I have had so much pain with the servers crashing/dropping/failing to migrate host/sometime just randomly kicking me with no explanation or making a laggy guy a host
3)Kick/ban vote system
4)Longer campaign
5)Make it better for players to play the objective so we don't get campers with the simple motive of boosting their k/d
6)Complete character customization (uniform, facial features, patches on uniform ect)
7)Take out the ability characters have to fire the Deagle at speeds that would shatter even the terminators hand bones

Well, I actually enjoyed Modern Warfare 2 a lot - I found the campaign to be epic in every sense of the word. Yes, the story was ridiculous, but I don't play video games for the sake of realism - I play for the sake of entertainment, and holy shit was MW2 entertaining.

One thing I'd like to see is a continuation of MW2's environment variety. My favourite missions in MW2 were the ones that took place in the wealthy suburban neighbourhoods - perhaps it was just the stark contrast between the chaos of the battles and the very polished look of the neighbourhoods, but something just felt so right about that. I also really enjoyed the stealth missions (or perhaps I should say mission), so I'd be in favour of more of those being in the next game. I'd also be in favour of Spec Ops returning to the series, perhaps this time with the option of having 4 player online co-op.

As for the multiplayer, I really don't have much to complain about there. Yes, things like the akimbo shotguns are pretty retarded, but their presence didn't really ruin the game for me in anyway. I enjoyed the levelling system, and I found it to be more or less reasonably balanced. Mind you, this is all based on my experience with the PS3 version.

Oh, and since nobody has said this yet, I'll sacrifice some of my personal integrity and add that I think MW3 needs more fucking cowbell. Seriously.

Actually I think I was the one who was wrong, someone else pointed out that in fact it doesn't use 50 Cal rounds!

People are gonna hate me for this, but what the hell.

[HEADING=2]Non-combatant bots[/HEADING]
-At the start of each round, 10-30 non-combatant bots spawn at various random locations around the map.
-They proceed to run/hide in various locations until they're killed or the round ends.
-Killing a non-combatant bot results in a points deducted from your score, possibly forcing you into career negative scores.

Now players will
- check targets before firing
- be penalized for random grenade throwing
- be penalized when area weapons (air strikes/gunship/artillery) kills non-combatants
- be penalized when a civilian walks into a mine

It would be interesting to see how players would adapt their tactics, like using the bots as shields to cross open areas, or sniping from a room where a group of bots are hiding.

Maybe it would be better as just a game mode, because I can see a lot of trigger-happy kids/adults will just get bored/annoyed because they can't go nuts.

Edit Note: Before you start flaming, bear in mind I once saw a thread here debating the artistic merit of being able to kill children in video-games (which I'm opposed to).
Actually that sounds like a really good idea. Certainly would stop grenade spam. However I have a distinct feeling some people would start simply murdering civilians for the lulz which wouldnt end very well. Also if CNN got wind of the fact you can hold people hostage it would be very bad. Very bad indeed

I however think this should be in MW3. I would actually buy the game if it had this in it.

That would actually be a great idea, and I'm pretty sure they had this planned for MW2 but for whatever reason it didn't get put into the finished game.

Of course, it would only be acceptable if it were a game mode you could pick, or only be there on certain maps.

And all girls that might be playing the game....
Girls don't have much high voice frequency, they just have a gentler tone and no Adam's apple.
