Should I get Company of Heroes, Medieval something or Total War something? I have a bit of money to spare and am currently undecided as to what I should get.

If you ask me, Company of Heroes is a game I have spent countless hours playing, I love that game. I played Empire Total War once or twice, but it didn't grasp me.

It just depends what you want. If you want just an RTS, Company of Heroes is an excellent game. If you want something over a bit slower, over a longer period and with more depth, wait and get Empire: Total War.
COH would be ur best choice. empire: total war is more slow and is bout conquering empires with diplomas and intelligence than tanks and bombs like in coh.
Wow, Didn't know that. I don't buy things from steam, because I generally use it to play Half-life 2 which is on my friends account. So I never look at buying games from steam.Theo Samaritan said:

No but, the games are really different, Total war is EPIC where as CoH is more of a down and dirty "tactical" game.
But try the demo of CoH first, and then look up some gameplay videos of the total war series to see what you think.
