I am from the almighty state of Manitoba. Known best for being in Canada (aka: Not the United States. We're that big mass of land above the U.S. on the world map. No, not Alaska. The other mass of land just to the right of Alaska.) and for having absolutely no natural hills. All of our (very few) hills are manmade and constructed of trash covered by sod and dirt.

I've lived in Pennsylvania my whole life and never want to leave :)

We're probably first known for the city of Filthadelphia, er, *Philadelphia (sorry, force of habit xD) which is if course known for being the former capitol, housing the Liberty Bell, and all of that other wonderful historical old-timeyness. It's also known for having one of the highest murder rates in the country sooo, if you're planning to visit, stay in the historic area.

Pennsylvania is also known for having loads of forests (the main reason I love it so much) and not only having (from what I understand) MORE roads then any other state, but because of that, having the WORST roads out of any other state. Seriously ANYTIME you go driving you'll either be stopped by roadworkers or navigating potholes. But, we get used to it after a while.

California. Known for Activision, 2K Games, one of the largest economies in the World, and a jackass of a Governor who spent $2 million of my tax money to do something that is not well favored in this community...

New Zealand.

And no it's not just rolling green hills.

It's very industrial in the city's, and very yellow on the country.

I myself, hail from the area of Massachusetts better known as "Goddamn nowhere".
Great Barrington? Florida? Amherst? There's a lot of those to my knowledge.

OT: Massachusetts, yay. Couldn't be more proud the be from the home of the highest-ranked institution of higher education in the country.
I took classes at Amherst, so i guess I got a small piece of that pie. Hooray The five sister schools.

I'm from right outside Boston, went to school in Amherst, and now live in Boston. I have the best of all worlds. MA has a lot to offer and if you think it's in the middle of nowhere, travel less then two hours and come visit Boston.
