I think I would go with... either the ability to teleport but with such great control and speed that I could make it appear that I was flying, for example, by continuously teleporting to a point slightly ahead and above of myself, or cloning, by flitting back and forth so fast that there appeared to be two of me in different spots.
Or, failing that, some sort of shadow manipulation. I like dark and gritty, so maybe an I-can-basically-do-anything-and-whatever-I-want-with/while-in-shadows sort of thing. Would be cool.

Like in X-men, they never choose their power so the random power generator is actually pretty neat. I got the idea from some other forum though so it's not my original idea but it works.
Having a marsupial-man as your nemesis sounds funny actually. How exactly is he opposing you? By finding your dug-up comic books and selling them himself before you get to it??

The power to turn anything I want into Gol... no hang on thinking about it thats a stupid power geez what idiot would want that clearly someone who hasnt thought things through.
I would want the power to make anything I wanted turn into reality, or failing that I would settle for time and space manipulation but thats pretty standard or failing that perfect memory on a conscious and subconscious level. I also wouldnt say no to being able to live as long as I choose or perfect luck.

Super-strength, but I can always control my strength so I don't kill anyone by accident, then I could be a one-man rugby team, and win the Olympic gold medals in Boxing, Weight-lifting, and also I'd be able to get into bar-fights and win, also I'd be able to show off in the gym by doing all the weight machines on the highest weight with ease. I would maybe do super-hero stuff once or twice, but it would be dangerous.
Like half of the people in this thread have already said, I'd have to go with telekinesis. The basic definition of telekinesis is "moving something with your mind," and that has literally endless possibilities.
Want to freeze somebody? Use your telekinesis to stop the movement of their molecules and that person is basically in Absolute Zero. Make people spontaneously combust by doing to opposite! Need to travel through a wall? Use telekinesis to vibrate your atoms and travel through solid matter! Get strong enough and you can manipulate the very primal forces to your will, essentially having the universe's building blocks in the palm of your hands!

I never thought about it like that! I guess Marsupial Man could be the protagonist from the public eye and I could be the bad guy who just goes around screwing with him.Odbarc said:
X Ray vision. I would love to be able to see everyone naked. It really wouldn't have any use outside of that really. I'd say that there's some people I wouldn't want to see naked, but after awhile, I think I'd just use it on everybody. They wouldn't know. I'd keep it to myself. I'd still want the ability to turn it off. But yes, I'm a simple man with simple pleasures. Other superpowers require more work and effort. This would be a nice little bonus on life.
