did you swell up?Anarchemitis said:I've had my wisdom teeth out, as well as an emergency appendectomy.
in the last 4 years my ex has had to have a kidney stone removed surgically twice... same way you did. They open up her back put something in there to grind up the stone, and suck it out... She was on so many pain meds, she even once asked me if she could kill me with a Nintendo DS and get away with it (drug induced state)... now that I think about it, maybe I should have know our marriage wouldn't last LMAOKoudelkaMorgan said:Appendix
Worst was the kidney stone, mostly due to the stent they put in for about a week. The stone itself was too large to pass (contrary to what they told me when I went to the ER the first time) and had intermittently bothered me for 4 months before
lodging itself in place and backing up my kidney to just about killing me.
Hoboy. I've had around seven of those things or so. Real pain. None surgically removed though. I did have quite the expedition through the world of painkillers though, so that was "fun".KoudelkaMorgan said:Appendix

The one in the other kidney passed a few months later, as far as I can tell. That was quite some time ago, and no problems since.
Same, only I'm not sure what degree it was. It was, however, severe enough to warrant a surgery that involved inserting 2 titanium rods and the removal of ribs.Da Orky Man said:You know what, I think may have won the thread.
My spine is partially titanium. Due to severe scoliosis, meaning that my spine was curved at about 65 degree in the middle, meant that I had to have surgery to straighten the spine out, and have titanium rods put in to keep it that way. I can no longer bend my spine at all.
Beat that.
