If they made a 3D Pokemon game exclusively for the WiiU, that thing would be sold out by the end of the night.
I'm so sick of this suggestion. The only reason they ever made console pokemon games was for fully animated, 3D battles whcih, thanks to X and Y, they don't need to do anymore. Also, let's be honest; nobody bought a Gamecube to play Pokemon Coliseum.

...I did...and I got it to also play XD Gale of Darkness. Those games seem to get a lot of flak for some reason, which I don't think is too fair because those games were pretty awesome actually. I also know some other people who bought a GameCube for Coliseum.
There's nothing wrong with wanting another game like that on the Wii U because last gen we got Battle Revolution, which in all honesty wasn't really good. I'd rather go back to playing the first 2 Stadium games than playing Battle Revolution.

Is it wrong I thought this thread would be about "the N word"?
Anyway like I said elsewhere, they could start by actually backing the Wii U with SOME marketing.

I liked Coliseum too, but we're in the minority I would think, and GF latest iteration of a 3D pokemon game was awful.

Also, let's remember WHY they released Pokemon Stadium; to allow 3D Pokemon battles (which is why they went to all that trouble in releasing the game pack thing.)
We don't really need that now, since X and Y have full 3D battles now.

Look, I would definitely buy a Wii U Pokemon Stadium, but I highly doubt it would sellout overnight.

They don't need to sellout over night, but ever little game will help the Wii U.
Not to mention that while 3D battles were the reason for Pokemon Stadium games, the Colloseum and XD Gale of Darkness games had other purposes. They were the way in which you could get certain Pokemon you'd need events in order to get for one, such as Jirachi, Celebi, Ho-Oh, and Lugia. Not to mention the Lugia in XD Gale of Darkness is the only Lugia that legally can learn Psycho Boost since Lugia doesn't naturally learn it nor can it be taught it via move tutor. Even if X and Y have 3D models for the games doesn't mean that there can't be another journey in the Orre Region, because quite honestly I just want another battle against Miror B! >.<

I guess you're right that any game would help the Wii U at this point (especially since I buy into the theory that strong game libraries sells hardware, not a single killer game), and I would love to return to the Orre Region.

I just get irritated when I hear people say that a console Pokemon would triple Wii U hardware sales. I doubt that very much.

Oh no, at this point there are only 2 games that could possibly double or triple the Wii U's total number of hardware sales at this point and they are Smash Bros and Mario Kart 8, and even then most people have probably already gotten their Wii U's for those games already.

Mainly though I just hope for more trips to the Orre region because it was a lot of fun, sure it was frustrating but it was still a lot of fun. Kinda killed double battles for me though so if they were to ever make another one of the games there are only 2 things I want them to add:
The first thing is more single battles, and the second is a place to train Pokemon in general besides the Colosseum matches in some of the towns. It became a pain to purify some of the later Shadow Pokemon in the game because I'd have to constantly go to Mt. Battle to purify them faster.

Nintendo should localize Dragon Quest VII.

This isn't a suggestion to improve their bottom line, it's just my own selfish desire.

They need to have another system like the gamecube. Make a machine with competitive specs, put 3rd parties on their system, and invest in some new genres and adult games. Seriously, people want to say "Oh Nintendo's always 1st party only and family friendly". The gamecube got 3rd parties like Freedom Fighters, Second Sight, etc and you could play Melee and Wind Waker on the same console. What's so hard to get about this? They can have the same games Microsoft and Sony and their first party titles. Not to mention they made games like Eternal Darkness and despite being remembered as mediocre, I liked the game Geist which was first person scifi horror with a unique mechanic. And anyone saying Nintendo needs to be family friendly needs to look at the bloody corpses at the being of Super Metroid. Also notice how they were able to make a horror game like Giest and and an adventure game like Wind Waker. There's no reason you can't have both. And I am fully aware that mature isn't always sex and gore. However reality is full sex and gore, and I think pretending they don't exist so all their games can be as pc as an episode of Mr. Rodgers is bull
