I am arachnophobic.
And that's about it, really.
I actually can't remember what fear feels like. I mean, if a spider gets on me, I'll panic, but panic and fear are two completely different things.
Panic is a sort of instantanious thing that makes you totally spaz out.
Fear is something completely different that makes you shiver and sweat and some other shit, I dunno.
As I said, I don't remember what it feels like.

And I suppose in a way, death. While I was lying in bed last night trying to get to sleep, I started thinking about death, specifically what comes next. I'm not a religious man, but last night I wished I was, because the notion that there is nothing and I will cease to exist terrifies me.

Bugs, and spiders. Their faces creep me out, with their creepy little pincer-mouths. And their soul-less eyes. And the tops of cockroaches, they freak me out.
Things that look awesome rather than creepy, like scorpions, I am fine around, though I am safely precautious around those things (what with Australia being so deadly). I also do not like heights, but am fine with it as long as I know I am safe (went rock-climbing the other day, the only time I got scared was when I was losing my grip and my spotter (guy who stops you falling) wouldn't answer when I asked if he was ready for me to let go (he was ready, he just wasn't answering)).

Serial killers. Too many law and order eps when I was younger or something. I get freaked out if I think I see someone outside a window.

Bad things happening to friends...
I'm fine if it's me that's in trouble, or could possibly be in trouble (I might get myself "ready" for anything if I'm forced to go through an alley, bad part of town, etc.

But when my friends (or someone else close to me) is somewhere by themselves?
That scares the hell out of me.
Even if they're outside, but just walking to the nearby store and back, where the chances are slim-to-nil that anything will actually happen to them... I still get worried sick until they're safe again.
Other than that though? Nothing, really...
Again, if it's just me that's in danger, I'm usually fine with that... So that rules out most of the other phobia's for me ...
