What the hell Gamespot?

Ive got a problem, apparently ive been banned from gamespot, and i can see no reason why i was. This is the message they sent me.

You have been banned indefinitely from the forums for one or more major terms of service violations.

Reason for moderation: Admin discretion

I have no idea what ive done to get banned, what is Admin discretion? I don't think ive done anything on gamespot for a while now, i don't think ive posted anything on the forums in a while either.

Well anywho, the thing to do is to try and appeal the ban... there should be an option somewhere in which you can send the admins a message, to see why they've banned you (more detailed account of why), and whether the ban can be lifted or not.

Well, I think what you should be doing is either forget about the forums and just stay here. If you say you did not really do anything then you should be able to get along with everyone here with no troubles and be just fine.
OR
You can always try to get in contact with a mod/admin from gamespots forum and try to find out what happened and if possible reverse the ban.

Funny how much of this is going around. You'd think people would control their admins better.

My clan had the same in BFBC2. We roflstomped a clan in a ranked match only to discover that an EA forum admin is in the clan. Since then we've been harrassed and had members banned left and right (which also locks out all their other EA games, since it's all linked to you EA account). Although we successfully appealled all the bans, no action has been taken against the admin, who continues to harrass us on the forums (locking threads and deleting posts) even if they aren't banning any more. So we don't play BFBC2 any more, and we won't be picking up any more EA/DICE games.

I read the moderation rules and I cannot appeal for you however you will need to go to customer services and ask them a question

You have the option to appeal your permanent ban only if you are certain that your account was terminated for an unknown reason.
