What the hell is up with EA???

I know a lot of people dislike EA for numerous reasons but until recently, I have supported EA by buying every single fifa game and many others like Mirrors Edge and Skate. But my issue is this, in a podcast on fifa 09 a guy said that there was a dlc coming to 360 which gave us new kits for Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle and Bayern Munich. The dude said that the dlc would be released on May 28th. It is now June 15th and there has been no dlc. I understand that game developers have to make sure that their dlc works perfectly but why announce a release date and not stick to it? They also could have informed us that it has been delayed but they haven't. Im very angry because of this as i am a huge Football fan (soccer) and i don't like it when developers mess things up. Does anyone have any info about this? Does anybody else dislike EA?

EDIT: the guy who announced the dlc on the podcast works for EA.

I see. Would have been helpful to mention that. In which case, I say take your vendetta out on that guy and tell EA to fire him.

That podcast doesn't sound too much like an official announcement from EA concerning any dlc, more like speculation. If you don't have the guy's name or know that he's from EA, then you shouldn't trust him.

wait, you are complaining because you can't get for four kits on time...four?

While I understand that delays are annoying, they are only kits, the add nothing to gameplay and they probably will cost money.

Its not just because of the kits, its the fact that EA are unreliable.

I've never noticed EAs unreliability , they actually tend to hit most of their release dates on time.

I'm not that big a fan of EA myself - haven't been since the dissapointments of Crysis and NFS: ProStreet - but nethertheless some (and only SOME) of their games are alright. These, however, are the old ones like NFS III. >_>
