i am actually trying to take over the planet. I have a whole 130 page document of how i will do it, and have been promising countries to my friends and loved ones.
Hmmm...and how is that working out for you? Also, how many pages of your plan have you completed?
i am currently on page 7. Currently, progress is slow, but will speed up in the coming years.[/quote]

Well...good luck with that..you can't be worse than most leaders unless you are a dictator who gets off on killing people...

no, i think of it as more... infusing the human people with some common sense, something we have lost (or maybe never really had). And don't worry, i find killing repulsive and rather counter productive.

I have no problems with infusing the human people with common sense...I think it committed suicide sometime around when people were suing others over hot spilled coffee...

Well...goodnight...or morning...see you on the election ticket then...someday........zzzzzzzz

Heh heh. I'm usually the one saying "What the Hell" to other people. Especially a certain friend of mine, who would laugh and say "***** got owwwned" during Boromir's death scene in Lord of the Rings. Or during "No Russian". Actually, I know for a fact he invited a Russian guy who was unfamiliar with video games in general to play that level. Usually, he's a pretty decent guy, but he's quite good at being an absolute douche.

As for me, I try to avoid actions or characteristics that would incite that reaction from people. Although I guess I have a rather strong fetish for Asians, which is creepy. There, now thousands of people on the internet know my secret, and my friends and family have no idea. *uncomfortable silence*

EDIT: *even more uncomfortable silence as Yokai realizes he basically necroed a derailed thread with this post*

I have never met a meme I didn't like. No exceptions
[bold]Nothing gets me as scared as a good custom game of Infection on Halo 3[/bold]
I will always buy Nintendo's console first, if only for Zelda and Mario
[bold]And worst of all, I visit 4chan.[/bold]
Why do you get scared in infection maps? I throughly enjoy them and I am usually the last fighting human standing and not one of the pansies who hides in unreachable places just to be the "last man standing."

I have tried to visit 4chan before (I didn't even know what it was until about a month ago) and I can't navigate the site at all...so I don't know what everyone's problem with it is...this may have something to do with the fact that I can't find anything beyond the home page but still...
I dunno, I think I just get too into it sometimes. Like my survival depends on it or something.
I have done that in games before (like MW2 sometimes I nearly fall out of my chair as I try to lean in real life to see what is behind that airplane husk) but I have never had that problem in Halo...I love the game but I don't feel like it matters if I die...only that I take as many of the bastards with me as I can...
Before you ever get curious about 4Chan, let me tell you about it: the real bad place in 4Chan is /b/, a.k.a "The Land of the Soulless" or the Random section. It was made with good intentions, but it is pure evil. I went on it last night and saw everything I don't want to see: child porn, gay porn, and a woman vomiting on a guy's junk. That is what 4Chan is.
Advice taken...now I know what posters mean when they put /b/....the more you know.
I honestly have to tell you: you need to see it at least once, just so you can say you have been there. Plus, it will remove all sense of your curiosity. It's sorta like driving for the first time: you are probably a little worried at first, but then it gets better... then you are forced to watch a video showing a guy who is cut in half and still screaming after he got in a car accident.

I hope you don't feel uncomfortable now.
Are you kidding me!?!? [small] I hate driving. [/small]

Hmm..I did manage the offended page...disgusting stuff that though.
You'll be fine, then. 4Chan is like that, except with a lot less violence and with a lot more CP (God, I hate typing that) and pictures of people showing off their genitals and other such body parts. And some funny-ass memes; they make 4Chan bearable.
Yeah...I just went there and noticed that...I still don't think I should have checkout the offended page at school...granted this was at college while I had 3 hours for my class to start but still...
Holy shit, you looked at it at school?!? Did you get caught? Don't answer that, I'm just going to assume the answer is no. I looked it up in the privacy of my own home and thought I was going to get some sort of admin message on my computer saying I was screwed.
Suprisingly no...I didn't get in trouble...at the time I had no clue what the hell it was so when I went there I was kind of shocked...I was on my own laptop at the time and just hanging out in the student lounge of the art building (I was the only one in their) but since they have their own network and a system you have to log on every time you try to get on the internet there I though I was going to get in serious trouble...
That is when I would grab my computer, toss it as far as I can, run face first into a wall and yell "That guy just attacked me and looked stuff up on my computer!" and point in a random direction.
Ironically I thought something terrible would happen...I couldn't stop shaking for the next 2.5 hours...all the way through my Chemistry class..
I know what you mean. That is the worst kind of torture, that "slow burn" kind of suffering mixed with anticipation. the same thing happened to me when a kid in middle school discovered my computer code and logged onto a library computer and replaced the background with bestiality porn. I thought that I was fucked for about three days, but apparently the teachers never thought to check the login history, so I was safe.
That was very risky of you...

...
Hehe...I have done much of the same things as you and I know at least one of my friends visits this site...does he know my username or does he have an account???

I don't know but still...I am not going to stop posting because of it.
i have three friends who come here, but they have all have a combined total of about 90 posts, so I have nothing to worry about.

Let's see how many of these we have in common:

1. I like beasty porn.
2. I have seen a load of gay porn,
3. I am also not gay.
4. I Don't like tentacle stuff.
5. I have mostly the same thoughts as you concerning death.
6. Cutting yourself sucks and doesn't make any sense. trust me, I know. (No, I'm not emo, I have just cut myself before to see what it is like.)
7. Don't censor that joke. It helps ease tension about a bad situation. And no, I haven't thought of it yet.

4/7 ain't bad.
I am 4/7 as well...

1. I have not seen a lot gay porn...a little but not much...
2. I have never cut myself and have no intentions of doing so...
3. I have never made disaster jokes minus the comments like "haha...this is God's version of birth control"...I am somewhat of an atheist but if I am proven wrong I will change my opinion.
So you are agnostic? I suppose that would be what I am, but I lean more towards religious. And come on! Disaster jokes are what keeps people from going all postal. If you try to lighten the mood about something it takes away some of the painful sting that the disaster produced.

This is the longest line of quotes I think I have ever been in.
Yep, I do believe I am agnostic with a slight religious bent...also I meant to put population control instead of birth control...

Also, I would reduce the amount of post quoting but I don't know how without messing it up...:/
I don't either. I always seem to screw it up when I try. Also, I just want to point out that I wasn't the one who put the porn on the school computer. It just seems like you thought otherwise.

Have we just turned this thread into our own personal chat room?
Hmm...I think I edited that previous post...

Also, I don't know if we have...I think we are still(slightly) on topic?
Yeah, I think we are. We are talking about things that are kinda fucked up. We just did a comparison with another Escapist about how screwed up each of us are compared to him.

But just in case: I'm a furry.

There. We are now safe.
Nice...I am one as well...a little bit...but still I am one...more into the story and art..I would never have sex with someone in a fur suit...I mean good lord. (No offense if you are into that sort of thing.)
Please, don't pile me in with the fursuiters! I don't think I could do that, either. I have a hard time reading the stories (they just make me feel weird), but I used to artistically rate yiff for a couple of websites. And when I say "I used to," I mean that I did it when I was around the ages of 12-14. I oftentimes wonder what the people on those sites would have thought of my ratings and reviews if they knew I was just a kid. Makes me laugh every time. (Oh, and by the way, NOBODY else knows that. I said it on one slightly obscure post a while ago, but I don't think anybody caught it).
Very nice wolf...

Technically I shouldn't be on any of those sites at all...I think I make up for it though by trying to stay invisible...i.e. not posting anything at all...I mean anything...

Makes me laugh trying to imagine what they thought...

Yeesh..you are correct some of those stories are messed up...made me go WTF multiple times...
Do you mean you aren't supposed to be on those sites, or you try not to be seen on them...or both? Yeah, I just can't read those stories, furry or otherwise. I just have a hard time dealing with the "pre-packaged fantasy" bit. They all just leave me feeling uncomfortable knowing that the story had to first go through somebody's head other than my own.

Since your account says you're in Alabama (and probably within walking distance of my house), I'm going to assume it is 2:00AM there, too. I think I'll just finish this conversation tomorrow, if you don't mind.
It is both actually...where do you live in Alabama? I live around 15-20 min. away from Huntsville...I also agree with you about going to bed...it is late..so late..zzzzz

The story thing you are right about as well...most of them I just don't get and while I am reading I get the urge to point out every little mistake they make and how I would make it better....

Thankfully I don't give into those urges...goodnight though.
I'm back. And about you living near Huntsville... you live literally as far away from me as you possibly can while still living in Alabama. I actually live on the Florida Panhandle (near Pensacola, to be exact) and am about fifteen minutes away from the Alabama border, if you follow the roads.

I assume you are a Grammar Nazi. I am a closet Grammar Nazi myself, so I don't jump into a post and point things out.

Don't worry. This thread seems like it will never die. I kinda enjoy seeing people still post on it. Who knows? Maybe this thing will go on for eternity.

OT: I actually think everyone has some kind of thing for Asians. I mean, it is the most prevalent kind of "thing" it seems. There now, doesn't it feel good to be on the other side of the "what the hell" spectrum, AND without other people really knowing who you are?

I find people who think that video games are in a decline because there exists shovelware annoy me. There has always been shovelware. There will always be shovelware. For every system ever made.

And these people will always claim the world is in complete decline.

If people are enjoying a game, maybe they're in tune with what the game does right. Games are about experiences, and they're deriving a positive experience. That's the only determiner if a game is good or not.

It's -how- that experience is derived that renders the pass/fail of a game subjective.

Wow! I have never met someone who has more eloquently put my feelings about good/bad games into text. I agree with you whole heartadly that no game is fundamentally part of a decline. People purchase different games according to their own preferences and the market only seeks to provide games based on what people purchase.

Kudos to you good sir.

Ouch...I have contemplated that at one time...I came to the conclusion that it wouldn't help any of my problems (just make them worse) and that my parents would kill me.

I find way to many people to be idiots because they enjoyed the L4D2 demo and are in fact part of the decline in video games.

But I would never say that without internet anonymity, although I'll probably get probation for it
I find people who think that video games are in a decline because there exists shovelware annoy me.

Man I wrote that awhile ago. You actually are correct though, I posted that in a hyperbolic sense mainly because I was pissed at a friend who by only playing the demo of L4D2 said it was going to be better than Fallout 3. Now I wasn't pissed that he made that ignorant statement, I was pissed because he basically shut his ears and yelled "nahnahnahnah" while I was trying to explain he was wrong. That anger was forged into that above post that has been long forgot. I don't actually think one game can be the decline of games altogether.
