Okay, we've all been there whether we meant to or not.

A lot of the scariest things in the world are scary only in context... If you don't know anything about them, they might seem perfectly ordinary...

Like this picture for instance:

To most of you? An innocent picture of a smiling game character...

To those who know its true meaning? Mind bending Horror...

What are some other seemingly innocuous and harmless things that are terrifying to those in the know?

It looks innocent, although slightly creepy, if you don't get where it's from. But if you've ever been wandering in ancient ruins only to be suddenly dropped on by one of these, you know what I'm talking about:

I do in fact know... and those things were creepy as.

In a similar vein:

Looks like a generic piece of space-junk... But whenever you see one, you watch your flanks.

My mind bending horror is a mannequin. Pick any mannequin.

The context is my head.
That or that condemned scene. Bricks were excreted when I saw that on youtube!

The true meaning is....interesting I suppose. For those who don't know it's meaning, http://www.scaryplace.com/ringaround.html

Beware. It's quite disturbing.

Without Context: What appears to be two scientists probing some sort of human-shaped hole.

With Context: DRRR.... DRRR....
