What to play first.

Okay so everyone here is aware of the Steam sale. Well since I had A LOT of back logged games I was able to pick up two packs the Square Enix/Eidos pack and the Valve Pack. Well now I have quite a few games to start playing through but don't know where to start.

I want to EVENTUALLY play through them all but would like to know which ones to move towards the front of my list and which ones to move more towards the back of it.

And I am going to guess the Kane and Lynch games are going to be more towards the back.

Wow... um... okay. I'd start with Half Life 2 first, because Episode 3 is a looooooooooooong ways away, and you'll get to Batman Arkham City before Episode 3 comes out, so play Batman near the end, but it's a darn good one.

Portal 1 is a great starting place as well, as it'll check one fast one off your list. Maybe Portal 2 after, since it's in the same series. The Team Fortress games and CounterStrike are play anytime FPS games with no story, so play those intermittently.
