What TV/movies/games do you pretend never happened?

P.S: Holy sacrilegious flaming shitballs, I just did a Wiki search on Uwe Boll to see what other games he's butchered since my time of writing this, and what do I see? DUNGEON SIEGE. Well, good on ya, poor franchise never had a chance. 3.8 on IMDB, doh! (His LEAST profitable venture, apparently). Please flame yourself and die, buddy.

Do we a (not so) quick favor: pick up and play through Wing Commanders 1-4 (skip the unnumbered ones for now). Then grab a bucket and watch the Wing Commander movie. Once the vomiting has stopped, you'll develop an appreciation for what 'bad movie adaptation' really means, and find yourself apologizing to Mr. Boll.

And my vote goes to Starship Troopers. There never was a movie of that.

It's contradictory garbage to an otherwise great series of games that kept ranging from good/great.. and thanks to IT, we still have yet to hear any news of a new Metroid game for the WiiU yet. Reaching the point where even SMTxFire Emblem has a likelier chance of coming out then a new Metroid game of any sort.

Wait... they made Star Wars prequels? Eh, they're probably fake.

And what in god's name is Insomniac's FUSE?! Sounds generic and washed down. I'll just sit here and wait patiently for Overstrike to never come out.

Any of Joshua Malina's scenes in "The West Wing". Season 4 onward simply had a massive uptick in the amount of scenes that featured Tobey muttering incoherently at an empty room.

Bailey was fine when running a campaign for a dead guy in California, although as a way to write Sam out of the show it was pants.

You're right he was awful after that. The scene where the interns write the speech has now become much more entertaining to me by imagining he wasn't there.

The bits that I've decided are non-cannon in the West Wing include Toby being a traitor and CJ becoming chief of staff because of the rank incompetence of two of the consistently smartest characters on the show. CJ becoming CoS was silly anyway (although she did a great job when she was there, and I can forgive it as CJ is great) but they didn't need to make Josh and Toby look like they were doing a slapstick routine to make it happen.

Scrubs was one of the best shows, ever; and the producers ended it at the best time, after its 8 seasons run.

There is no Legend of Zelda game where Link talks, or is not Left-handed,edit, except for Windwaker. That's it.

In Mass Effect 3, there is no Refuse, because Shepard would never be stupid enough to let the Yahg be in control of the galaxy, among other reasons.

God, when are Square going to release Final Fantasy 7?

It's been so long, it's almost like if the franchise had continued, it would have been a horrible downward spiral into animu kawaii and twats with massive swords and ridiculously improbable hair.

Lucky that didn't happen, because it would have been really fucking stupid.

You know what would be especially stupid? Two mediocre MMOs being considered main games, shoehorned in bishies to draw in teenage girls like wolves to a wounded lamb baaing desperately for its mother, and the game being an overly complicated narrow, linear corridor. Thank God that never happened.

Metroid Other M never happend, most people I know tend to agree. It's just drivel from the upper shelf that doesn't do the Samus whe know about justice.

As for movies: Indiana Jones and the Chrystal Skull something something. Watched it once, afterwards decided that it never happend. Same for the Star Wars prequels.

Most of mine have been said so I will say that audio sequal thing that was included in Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD. No fucking idea what they were thinking when they did that but it NEVER HAPPENED!
