What was the 1st video game you ever played.

My dad used to work a computer cafe place so I actually joined in on CS tournys when I was 2, I was pretty good and the first one I beat would be- to my knowleldge- either super smash bros(the one for n64). goldeneye007(n64). pokemon snap(once again n64). or super mario world(snes) and maybe a commodore 64 game because they are still awesome

I'm confused about no one in this thread having stated that he began playing on an Amiga. Pretty much every platform has been mentioned here, except of that one. Did the Amiga mostly only attract previous C64 owners? On the other hand, that kinda makes sense - i guess if some videogame thingie were introduced to household around 1986-1988, it would be a console instead of a computer. Interesting.

All my memories of playing games at a young age are clear as day, but I have no idea what order they go in. It was either Donkey Kong on the NES, Donkey Kong Land on the Game Boy, Spiderman on the PS1 or Mulan on the PS1. I just don't remember which one came first.

My Dad gave me his original Game Boy - the grey brick with purple buttons - when I was about four or five. It came with Double Dragon II and one of those 32 Games in One cartridges.

Eleven or twelve years later... I'm on a gaming forum discussing the latest titles for my coveted Xbox 360. Ah, from such humble origins.

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back on PS1. Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt on NES may have came first though. Can't remember which

Back when I was 3 or 4 my cousin gave me his NES with all the 'originals'.
The first Final Fantasy, Mario Bros, Metroid, Contra, Star Wars, ect.


So, it was probably one of those.
