Cowboy Bebop! Back when I was a wee likkle tyke, around the age of 9 or something. It was on adult swim, and I had a babysitter for the night while my parents went off to some fancy restaurant and (presumably) got drunk.

Well, she didn't know our night-night times, so we stayed up till like 1 in the morning. I didn't get much of the anime, seeing as I was but a mere shitling, but from what I remember of that hazy night there was a lot of cleavage and supposedly attractive women, and there was this guy with wild hair who seemed very trigger happy. He was also badass.

I can't remember as I was very young. A toss up between Dominion Tank Police, The Guyver and Tenchi Muyo (80's anime, I think). Ahh the good old days on late night Friday Scifi channel.
