Grandia on PS1.. I was 6-7 at the time and I loved it.. even though I had no idea what a JRPG was.

Do Commodore Vic 20 games count? I cannot remember the names though.

Other than that I also had an Atari 2600 & 5200 ... played Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Kaboom!, Pitfall!, & Centipede (to just name the ones I can remember).

It was either marble madness, duck hunt, or super mario bros 3. I don't remember which, but I know that it was one of them.

System: Nintendo 64
Game: Super Mario 64
Year: 1997
Age: 3

My parents bought it for me, however whenever I had trouble with it, they would step in and help me. I remember once, we played the entire game in one night, swapping the controller to eachother and having turns at different levels.

Super Mario Land on the original Game Boy... Around 1989/90.
wow owning a game boy when it was just brand new!! You must have been super cool/well off. <3 I dont think I got a game boy til like 3/4 yrs later haha :)
When I think about it my first game was rather Lemmings or Winter Games. I also played them at the house of a friend of my father. But Super Mario Land was the first one I owned. I had to beg my parents to get me a Game Boy. Back in the old days... ;)

Either sonic the hedgehog or Out of this world on my brother's sega genesis. I remember those two early on but don't know which was first to be played by me.

Either Donkey Kong Jr. for the Nintendo Game & watch, or another NG&W game where you played some guy on a boat trying to rescue people from a sinking ship. It was like a classic "shits falling from the sky and you got to catch it" title.

It was '83 or '84. My parents had a "computer system" (an Atari-era console with a keyboard, a small hard drive and program writing that had cartridge games) called the TI-99 (that's Texas Instruments, and no, it wasn't a calculator). The first game I ever played for it was Parsec, a side-scrolling space shooter.

I bloody loved that game.

Lotus III: The Ultimate Challenge is the first one I actually remember playing around 1996 or 1997. We never had any gaming consoles so it was on our family computer.

Although, I've been told that I played some games on a Commodore 64 even before that, but I have zero recollection of that.

Most probably Super Mario Bros. at a friends house when I was around five years old.
My first owned game was a demo disc for my Playstation(thank you, mom!) that I got when I was seven or so. I didn't know what hell a demo was back then though, so I was a bit confused as to why the games were so damn short.

Heroes 2, Diablo, Warcraft (1) and of course, Counter strike. Go go console settings! Should I even mention Pokemon (Green) on Gameboy? Nothing is as good as lovely Charmander <3

It's hard to say, since I've been playing games since birth. I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but "Kao the Kangaroo Round 2" would be a good guess- I was, around 4 at that time, maybe? So, 1998? Oh, how I miss those days. Before Xbox 360 and PS3; a time when PC gaming was on top.
