Sonic 1 for Master System. It was the game that came installed to my Master System 2. No Alex Kidd for me!

Pac-man and some vs space shooter on the Atari 2600, which I was terrible at. It was all right angles, 1 shot 1 kill, as Atari games are known to be.

The first game that I ever played was Diablo. The first one- on my dad's computer. I had seen him playing it, and was curious what it was.
Needless to say, I couldn't finish it that terrifying night.

First ones I remember playing were Super Mario Bros, Megaman X, and Contra 3 on the SNES. FANTASTIC games!

The first dedicated videogame? That would be Wavy Navy for the Apple ][c.
Damn I'm old.

Don't remember which was first, but the two games in memory that made me a "gamer" were Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures and Quest for Glory. Have the original box for QFG and still have the floppies of FRUA, good times.

I remember playing on Sega Master System when I was really young but didn't really have much of an idea what was going on so I'm going to ignore that.

Therefore my first game was Crash Bandicoot on PS1.

It was either...Asteroids, or the Mortal Kombat, back on the Sega Genesis. Can't remember, that was a long time ago, and Dad had gotten it for himself (which is weird, since he doesn't seem like much of a fighting game enthusiast, more of an action-adventure type).

The first game I remember playing any significant amount was Ocarina of Time. I recall thinking "this is a pretty long game!"...after finishing the Deku Tree. That there were two more sections astounded me. And then the Temples showed up...

It ended up defining alot of my gaming loves, that's for sure.

Sonic The Hedgehog is the first game I remember playing, but chances are I'd played things before it. I was more or less born with a Mega Drive controller in my hand.

Yes, I am so old. Pong. But in addition to having the wheel controller, there was also a rifle/pistol where you could shoot the little square.
