Either Pokemon blue or the original mario game. oh to go back to a time when gaming was such a carefree innocent affair...

My dad's a gamer and right around the time I got old enough that my motor skills came in we had a Sega Genesis and bunch of games for it. And it was really ALL of those. But I think my earliest gaming memories are of Aladdin, The Lion King, and The Jungle Book all for the Genesis. I was(and still kinda am) into Disney movies as a kid, and the fact that there were video games of all that was the greatest thing ever to me as a kid.

Diablo for the PC. I think I was seven at the time.

Could not get past the Butcher (on level two, mind you), but it did instill a love for gaming (and the occult, a-ha-ha-ha) that has yet to wane.

My first game was Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt for the Nintendo. But I gotta say, the game that really got me into gaming was Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I used to play that for hours on end. I still remember all my frustration at the Chemical Plant stage. XD
Holy crap, that sounds exactly like my experiences, except for my scrappy level was Metropolis Zone 3. Hated that boss. I can still remember the music to all the Sonic levels now...still have my Genesis, too. :D

For me it wasn't any one game but rather a week and my grandmothers house. She owned a video game rental store and had just about every game ever made for the NES. If i had to choose one i would have to pick Mario/Duck Hunter
