Portal 2,

I hummed along the song, cause it's awesome!
I really liked the game, hope they'll release some advanced rooms.

P3P, Nyx was a joke with my Level 99 party and the ending was just as good as P3FES

Brutal Legend. I think it's extremely underrated and I'm sad to hear it sold so badly. It's very unique, and with all the work that went into it, like voices and songs from amazing bands and rock stars, it's just a crying shame it's all gone unnoticed. Being a heavy metal fan, I can't see why I didn't pick it up earlier.
I liked that game but I feel they made a bad choice with the whole RTS gameplay, from all the trailers and stuff i say, it convinced me it was going to be a hack n slash game, and iin my opinion it would have been much more fun if they did that

I just finished Dungeon Siege 1 for the like 23th time.
Even though I know the entire world by heart (I could probably draw you a map of everything in the entire ~12 hour game) but I still find another secret in every new playthrough, its ridiculous.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Loved it, but the shop quests were damned annoying... that and being 'detected' by a lone guard as you stab him.

[Edit] And that thing that ported PC games do when you lose control of the camera and suddenly all your directional controls are changed from the defaults to "Press the jump button and pray I don't fall 3 storeys".

I think that the last game I completed was Mortal Kombat 9, and it was good. I liked the reboot quite a bit. The story was good, too, and I didn't mind what they did with all the characters.

Portal 2, not a bad game at all, wasn't expecting the part where...

...you had to shoot at the moon to finish Wheatley, and then GLaDOS saves you, then the turrets sing in the elevator. Not to forget "Want you gone"

Not a bad ending at all.

Mass Effect 2. 30 hours of dicking about was the story. It wasn't very plot driven unlike the previous Mass Effect, which I preffered, but still incredibly fun none the less. And Immersive. But damn the planet scanning is lethargic, I mean, really, wtf. But that replaces the time I spent comparing and selling my gear and weapons from Mass Effect 1.

Alice Madness Returns. It was fun, but I don't know what I would do differently if/when I replay it. Maybe I'll look into the DLC.

good and evil are just sides of a coin and the Rim is the things that controls it.

Solatorobo.

Given that it was only released this month, you could hazard a guess.
Might even write a review for it on the user reviews forum.

Portal 2. And I fucking loved it. It was simply fun. The puzzles were less than challenging at their hardest, but the game was still extremely entertaining.
Same here, I guess. Heard somewhere that Valve originally had designed the chambers more complicated, and in addition had a gel allowing you to run on walls and ceiling, but removed those in development. Simplified the levels because a lot of the testers had trouble with them, and removed the gel because the testers got dizzy from them.

Started up Bioshock again recently, and it has a very different impression this time. Partly because of the story (for obvious reasons, if you have completed it yourself) but also because this time I play on the hardest difficulty. I started on survival, since I have become familiar with the controls and combat aspect from the previous run, so now playing at a higher difficulty really adds a different perspective in the combat, and an awareness of your environments.

The last game I completed was L.A. Noire. My feelings for the game can be summed up with the words bored, bored, homicide, bored, bored, finished, sold.

As a tech demo for the new face scanning thing it did its job as the whole looking at th person to see if their lying worked well, but my God did the rest of the game have to be so fucking dull. The massive L.A. map was pointless as it hardly encouraged exploration and it got annoying when you had to drive from one side of the map to the other to do a street crime case. The final missions to homicide and the arson are really really bad, especially as they concentrate on the worst part of the game, the gun fighting which is so lifeless and dull, it felt so tacked on and the game could probably have done without it. The game probably wouldn't have been so bad if the main character, Cole Phelps had at least had a personality, everyone of the supporting characters had more personality than he did and as a result, I ended up liking them more than Cole.

Sorry for the mini rant, I didn't like the game, it felt like bits of other games mashed together just to show off the new technology. I understand that there were problems with the development of the game and that it only got released due to Rockstars involvement. Maybe now that Team Bondi are loaded from the sucess of this game, maybe the sequel will be better.

Fallout New Vegas, loved every minute of it.

But unfortunately after purchasing both DLCs the game CTDs all the time now, so i can't fully complete everything.

Splinter Cell: Conviction. It has caught lots of flack for being more forgiving to the less patient, but I liked how it still gave patient gamers a chance to use the environment to gain strategic advantages and completely clean up. After I finished, I felt the need to go back to the game's roots, so I downloaded Splinter Cell on steam.

Cars 2. It was a lame Mario Kart style game that controlled poorly. It alternated between racing, racing with weapons, and then arena battles. The Arena battles were the worst part in that you were constantly skidding around in circles trying to shoot anybody.

On the plus side, the achievements were easy to get

You bought a movie-game? That's a ballsy move if I've ever seen one.

I just recently beat God of War 2 on God Mode, and wow am I really aching to play GoW3. I was never not having fun between the gameplay, QTE's and puzzle sections, but having only the original to compare it to it seemed too fat. GoW1 had three bosses and it was condensed perfectly, there was never any fluff and I can't think of a negative criticism. It's sequel though had more bosses than I can remember and it had a lot more variety than GoW1, but as fun as it was I can't help shake the feeling some of it was tacked on. It was still a carnival of addicting combat and gore, but I prefer the original.
Hola

I wish I had a ps3 or 2 to play that game. Someday

I only rented cars to whore it out for achievements. I got it from a redbox machine for 2 dollars as a rental.

Duke Nukem Forever. I honestly don't understand all the hate for it. It's not as good as Halo Reach, but it's fun.

The last game I finished was Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2. I know I'm late on that, but A, I don't buy a lot of mainstream games until they go on special at Wal-Mart, and B, CoD was just a series I could never get into. After playing it, I realized that it is actually fun, and I'm now a bit of a gun-nut. I've made a few good friends on the game, too, thanks to the multiplayer that I rarely play.

That's what I've been saying all along about it. I like how it can take the piss out of itself because it can, how it's different and kinda funny. Also it kinda shows how patient we are if we're buying it after thirteen years.

Darksiders, and despite what Yahtzee said I thought it was awesome. You fight a DRAGON while riding on a fiery horse with a massive sword, the only way it could have been better is if there were lightning and shurikens.
